I was placed in this hotel as part of my hotel, but would not have chosen to stay here myself. While the hotel is central and the service for the most part friendly, the standards simply aren't comparable to similarly priced hotels. The rooms were dirty and I had to change rooms (at a supplement) in order to get one... More

We are staying here right now have have just been woken at 6:30am by very loud hammering and banging. This after struggling to get a decent room with a safe last night when we checked in is not making me at all happy with this hotel.

We were booked in for three nights but 1 night of terror was enough! Upon arrival we found there was rat droppings on the enclosed balcony, blood stains on the wall and the bed sheets, on of the taps in the sink was hanging off and the shower produced a dribble of water. As we arrived late and exhausted we... More

The Asia Hotel was nothing special. In terms of room and breakfast it was a fair value, but only just. Our dissatisfaction stems from the fact the tour guide -- Triet Quang Huynh -- that the front desk put us in touch with ended up only delivering on half of what we agreed. (The arrangements were for a boat passage... More

The room I had was fairly nice, walls had not long been painted, carpet on the floor instead of tiles. Still has the shower over the bath with a curtain, but I prefer that to a wet bathroom floor. Room had a really good balcony, balcony also had windows so there was a sort of insulating effect from road noise... More

- 25 USD for a room which was not cleaned ! The walls and the floors are dirty. The room was dark. The furniture out of age. - The staff was not friendly. Not a smile - 3 star hotels. Holiday Hotel for 20 USD in Hue was much better. The worst hotel I have stayed during my 2 weeks... More

At US$28 I was expecting a little more, this was not an inexpensive hotel by Vietnamese standards. It was clear I was charged a "foreigners" price, and was told as much when I checked out. The room, though large, was in need of sprucing up and smelt a little. To their credit, this was the only hotel I stayed at,... More

Our daughter teaches English at Can Tho University, and we were coming to visit her. Before we arrived, she had emergency surgery, and her best Vietnamese friend booked the Asia Hotel as a place for us to stay and for her to recover upon discharge from the new Can Tho hospital. The fact that the hotel had an elevator was... More
