We splurged on our trip to Vietnam to stay here. This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Yes, the drink are more pricey here but it's Vietnam so even an expensive drink is still not all that expensive. AND the drinks were delicious! The restaurant was very, very good and we had a wonderful dinner here. The only... more

We stayed at the Victoria Can Tho for 2 nights, and found it to be clean, quiet, and very comfortable. We especially liked the bountiful assortment of fruit at breakfast, and the gazpacho, which was superb. We enjoyed the large pool one afternoon after several hours of sightseeing. The pool lounge chairs had nice thick pads and were comfortable for... more

Lovely colonial style 5 star hotel with all the trimmings you would expect nestled on the bank of the river with a free water taxi service into town. All rooms with balconies gazing over deep blue pool across lush gardens to the river. Extensive and nourishing breakfast (we ate evening meals in CanTho town courtesy of the Victoria Hotel water... more

Don't get me wrong, this isn't a bad hotel. It just doesn't compare to the Sofitel in Saigon, the Furama in Da Nang, or even the Hilton in Hanoi. It's an older hotel, but it just didn't really do it for me. The drinks were overpriced, the food was just OK, and the overall experience was relatively unforgettable. The best... more

This place is everything you imagine when people say '5 star resort'. Fantastic cocktails, luxurious rooms and breakfast was AMAZING! Can Tho itself though...not much there. more

We stayed here only one night on our way from Saigon to Rach Ga. What a fantastic hotel. We felt like we;d gone to heaven. The colonial feel of the place, it's grandeur, made us feel so special. Great room, extensive breakfast selection with magical setting, big deep pool and very sweet spa ladies made for an enjoyable afternoon and... more

We stopped at the Victoria Can Tho Resort for two nights as part of our tour of the Mekong Delta. The hotel was very welcoming, the staff friendly and the room overlooking the swimming pool excellent. The location by the river was lovely with a jetty for pick ups by boat for a tour of the floating market (not to... more

We originally wanted to stay one night at the Victoria Resort, and it eventually became three. Ahead of time, we booked a Superior Room (around USD 150/night). When arriving at Can Tho, the weather turned bad, and we could not really do something in the city. So we decided to stay another night. Without asking for it, the reception kindly... more

We arrived at this hotel quite late in the day and had to leave early so we only spent about 12 hours here. However, the time we were here was very enjoyable. The pool was nice and well situated. The room was nice, but could probably do with a bit of updating. However, it was very well equipped and we... more
