We booked here so our kids would have somewhere outside to play when not on the move. It was fantastic for this. We had the VIP room which was huge and very comfortable. The restaurant meals were terrific. However, the service here did not match the price tag. In fact, in a month of travel in Vietnam, this was the... More

We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights at this hotel but we left after one. I can't recall doing this before. The reason we left was that the air con was insufficient to cool our rooms much below 30 degrees. We tried 4 rooms in total and all were the same. The units look newish and I believe that management... More

We stayed in one of the garden view bungalow rooms. We were on a road trip round the delta and Can Tho was our first destination, and we returned back as our last destination before going back to the city. On the first stay we were given a twin room (two small doubles) and when we returned a big double.... More

At first we were pretty worried when we were taking the taxi down the unknown dirt road, but once we pulled up to the resort and were kindly greeted all of our worries went out the window. The resort is about a 10 minute taxi ride to the town center and is a little out of the way, but it... More

We stayed in one of the standard rooms for 2 nights in November. This Hotel was our value for money winner during our 3 week trip through Vietnam. The resort is located around 10 min by Taxi from the water front conveniently close to the airport (no noise!). The resort really is an oasis. It is situated in a beautiful,... More

The saying 'Looks can be deceiving' applies here. The road to get to the hotel makes it look a bit dubious, however, the hotel is a wonderful place. The rooms are very nice and elegant. The grounds are beautiful! There is a mini canal running through the grounds, with many different types of flowers around as well. There is a cafe... More

Agree totally with Tony from Perth. Thanh Dat is really value for money (US$20/room) - the rooms are big and clean, the beds are firm, the sheets are quality sheets and not the normal pathetic white ones, the toilets are big, the surroundings are lovingly manicured, the food is great value for money (lunch for 4 of us costs only... We arrived by taxi which left us near a long, narrow dusty lane and we were quite nervous thinking we had made a huge mistake. However after a phonecall from my Vietnamese travelling companion, a motorbike arrived from the resort to collect us. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the Japanese style gardens with a profusion of... More
