Legendha is the best place to stay in Sukhothai without question. The only purpose of visiting Sukhothai for tourism is the UNESCO world heritage site. This is the closest place, plus a mature garden on a winding river. Mosquitoes are pervasive, but not just to Legendha, but all of Sukhothai. Precautions are advised. Mosquito spray, socks, sit near fans.

We love the swimming pool and the area in the hotel. The food was good there. Staff are nice and friendly. The room was nice and clean but but the food was spotty in the restaurant. Some was excellent some was not. Close walk to the historical sights, but don't plan on having any good forign food The TV had... More

We liked our stay at Legendha, but were a bit let down by the restaurant and bar closing at 9PM. There is no other place to go at that time, except your room. Nice, but not when your hungry. The room service menu is extremely pricy by Thai standards and only is open till 10PM. Grilled ham and chees or... More

the hotel is nice but just too many mosquitoes around, there is no insect repellent in the bedroom ( we need to rush to open and close the door to avoid the mosquitoes to fly in ) nor restaurant therefore we are not at all enjoying our dinner and breakfasts with so many mosquitoes biting and around you and flies... I stayed at The Legendha for three nights and found it very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts and dinners were exceptional and the staff couldn’t do more to help me. I was staying at the resort when martial law was declared and I had a very worried mother at home…the staff were very quick to help me get in touch with... More

Set in luxuriant gardens just a few hundred yards from the Park, this exquisite hotel typifies the excellence of Thai hotel hospitality. Warm, friendly welcome, good food and semi-individual cabins (although the room was rather on the small side and lacked wardrobe and drawer space). The heated swimming pool with its poolside bar were a big plus, not to mention... More

Hotel, room and the garden are very nice and wellkept.like last year we were invites for the dinerbuffet on the last evening and there was also a Thai dance group. Swimmingpool is good, although the water is almost too warm.location... More

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel near the historical park. Arrived by tuktuk from bus station for 200ish and the songtiew on return (from front of hotel) which was much cheaper. Location was convenient for touring old Sukhothai. Bikes provided. Rooms were lovely and pool was nice to have. Grounds also great. Overall, very pleased for price. Buffet breakfast was... More

Hotelroom was allright, clean and ok beds. Bathroom was a bit disappointing, shower is in the bathtub wich wasn't really clean. Be careful around the swimmingpoolarea, pooledges are sharp, I cut myself. Also the floor surrounding the pool is woorden with mails sticking out here and there. I really didn't like the restaurant. You can choose beween à la carte... More

Not sure what I think about this hotel, I think I liked it, there was a lot to like about it. The grounds are really pretty and at night they look lovely. The show they put on at night was great and the only dancing we saw on our trip, the monks in the morning was an added extra experience,... More
