We arrived pretty late at the guesthouse (7h trip from Bangkok) and found nobody at the guesthouse. One of the other guests informed us that she would be back soonish. She didn't have any clue we were coming so it all seemed a bit disorganised. The bungalows\rooms are small but very neat. No complaints there. The minor turnoff is that... More

We stayed in one of J&J's lovely Bungalows for a few nights end of November 2014. The bungalow was clean and spacious, the staff very friendly and helpful. Location is good as well, as close to city centre but not noisy. Can highly recommend this place!

We arrived in Sukkothai off the bus from Bangkok and after the journey where exhausted so needed somewhere to drop our bags off quick we viewed a hostel with the Tuk Tuk driver which was horrible and had literally hundreds of mosquitos outside the door I recieved 5 bites in less than a minute! Eventually we decided to ditch the... More

We took a sweet little bungalow for around 800 baht. Comfy bed, good-sized room, hot showers, on-site restaurant and bar. The only downside was that it is opposite a school and you are awoken very early in the morning by the children chanting and singing. If you're an early riser it won't be a problem and, to be fair, it... More

I headed to this place expecting a marvellous riverside location. Cannot see the river from the site. Bungalow was ok, apart from having a pointless window that cannot be opened and a sink in the bedroom. The fresh baguettes are a lie aswell. Really loud temple woke us up at 6am for 2 mornings. Location is down dark alley full... More

I stayed at J&J for 3 nights and found it to be just fine. It's located on a busy little soi just a short walk from a main street. The staff were friendly and most spoke good English, the restaurant food was fine, and the property is neat and clean. However, it is near the river, but a concrete wall... More

Best bathroom set-up (the shower was separated from the toilet, and sink in the room not bathroom) that I had on the trip. There was a great on-site restaurant. It was very far from the ruins, and I didn’t think much was going on in Sukhothai itself. This is a great spot if you want a little romantic place out... More

We stayed two nights in this lovely little guesthouse. The staff was amazingly kind and sweet, and our children were treated with so much kindness, it was great. The cabins we stayed in were very pretty and clean, but well ... they were cabins, so you could hear every single motorbike, every single howling dog AND every croaking frog bloating... More

This place could have been good if the owners thought more about their guests needs. Firstly there was no table, no bedside table, no coat hangers, nowhere other than the bed or the floor to put anything. The room had a nice feel to it and outdoors was lovely but actually using the room was hopeless. For some reason the... More
