Spent 2 days there in the wooden house. The room has a private bathroom that is outside a few steps away from the bedroom door l, but it didn t bother us at all. The place is charming with nice architecture and decorations from south east-asia, and full of details about the service that makes it really welcoming. The swimming... More

We are just leaving Tharaburi resort with regret we spent an excellent time here, people are very nice, the scenery is beyond beautiful, the hotel decoration is gorgeous. The hotel is very well located close to the ancient city, they provide quite good shape bicycles for free (use them! We did the first day walking under 40° it was extremely... More

Booked a family room. Room is large and is two stories, plenty of room for a family. The beds were comfortable and the room is nicely appointed. Good wifi. Pool was clean although there's no shallow pool for small kids. the complimentary breakfast was okay. I liked the traditional Sukhothai/Lanna architecture and decor of the resort. Close to the park. Good... More

The location of this hotel is its strongest selling point. The hotel provide bicycles and it's close to the old city. That's the best way to discover it anyway, temples are scattered on a relatively vast area. But altogether it's something like a ten kilometer ride. Just be careful of the sun... The hotel itself is fine, we were in... More

We stayed here for two nights in the middle of March 2014. As it was the end of the hot season the place was very quiet. In fact, I think we were the only quests staying there. However, they made sure that the pool was available and clean and that there were sun beds and towels if we needed them.... More

We stayed here for 2 night during our 3 week Thailand vacation. What a find! After reading the more negative reviews on TA, we really got the impression that they are taking customer feedback very seriously. Lots of friendly personell cleaning, sweeping, pickung up leaves and maintaining the pool and ponds. Perfect location to start from to cycle through the... More

we only stayed the one night after visiting Historical park nearby .The room was very spacious, well decorated.Bathroom was a good size. Window overlooked a small pond, and at night it sounded like you were in the middle of a jungle ,with the frogs and birds calling. Dinner was alright , but not a busy period .The breakfast was fine. Situation... More

We made a trip around Thailand with our children (6 and 7 year old) and Sukhothai was in the middle of our trip as we started with Chiang Rai. The contrast was huge with the cities up north both in terms of hotels offering and friendness of people. There are not so many hotels in old Sukhothai and the first... More

Near old city. Rooms were big, same for bathroom. This was just before high season, so hotel was not totaly prepared. Room was humid. Not much choice for dinner, even though dinner was very good. Very nice pool. Far way to station. No shop nearby. Bicycles available at hotel for free. Generally very nice.

This property is close to the historical park.......and there the pluses end. As others have remarked, it is pretty shabby - and with smelly bathrooms. The so called premium rooms at the front are smaller and shabbier than the cheaper rooms at the back. This is not "designer distressed"; this is old age and poor maintenance distressed. Uncomfortable bed, grotty... More
