We staced in a double room with fan for 350 THB. It was very clean and we got new sheets and towels, and also the matress was very good! The staff very friendly and helpful, they also booked the bus for us to Bangkok and gave us advice about the city and old sukhothai. The food was also very good,... More

We booked this based on other reviews but have to say we were disappointed. We stayed in a bungalow which had air con and private bathroom. It was very small - not much bigger than a garden shed - we have paid less and had much better facilities elsewhere. The bungalow was clean but definitely needs refurbishment - eg the... More

We paid for a double room with fan and shared bathroom. Rooms are lovely, and clean. Good mosquito nets over the window which kept all beasties out! Bathroom was clean. Good value for money. Staff helpful and friendly. Nice restaurant area to sit in at night.

We really weren't expecting much for £5 for a twin room. And by cheapness standards, it lived up to expectations. In a lane by a small river, by no means picturesque, in walking distance to town, restaurants and the bus to Old Sukhothai, it is quite well positioned, in nice gardens. There are similar guest houses next door, if this... More

When you arrive in Sukhothai you will be approached by various bods touting accommodations. I checked one or two out and would have stayed elsewhere had I not pre-booked/paid at Ban Thai as I was offered cheaper, better rooms nearby. Others seem impressed with Ban Thai - very strange, considering my feelings, but I did initially stay in a dorm-style... More

This is a family run guesthouse and they make you feel at home. Our bungalow was spotless with a really comfy bed and a little terrace at the front. The location is a short walk to the main street and you are given a map and advice when you arrive. The good is exceptional. We couldn't resist the chicken and... More

I was there with friends.. Very Nice place for a very good price !!! The bungalows are very well taken care off, they are nice and cosy.. Not far from the busstation and still away from the busy new city.. When we arrived late on the first evening the kitchen was already closed, they made an efford to prepare us... More

Relaxing, friendly atmosphere. Excellent customer service from incredibly helpful staff members. Great food from chef Dum who has been a chef doing Thai food in Hong Kong. No-frills and basic but clean rooms. Chilled out seating area to while away peaceful hours between activities. A great place to stay, very enjoyable.

Ban Thai Guesthouse is located in New Sukhothai in a small street close to the main road (3 mins walks from 7eleven/local bus* station to Old Sukhothai). The place was clean and tidy. There were around 10 small cottages and a separate building with other rooms. Despite being peak season and fully booked, this place was quiet and silent. Our... More
