The best way to discover Sukhothai is to be near the historical park. Here, on the riverside, close to the rice fields, it's very peaceful and quiet and just five minutes to go with your bicycle. Eak & Kook are very friendly and nice with their guests so you feel like home. Don't hesitate to ask them anything about Thai... More

We stayed at Baan Rim Klong Resort in early November 2014, during the Loy Krathong Festival. The owner family, Chet and Kosol (mom and dad), Kik and Kook (daughters) and Eak (Kook’s husband) could not have been sweeter or more hospitable. Eak drove us into Old Sukhothai and 3 occasions, Chet, Kosol and Kik drove us to new Sukhothai and... More

We stayed in this hotel only one night, but the time has been enough to appreciate it. We arrived (by a hired van, we were seven people), after a long journey from Chiang Mai, in the hottest hours of the day, and the staff has generously worked to facilitate our stay. Not only they have introduced us soon in our... More

A great choice for our 2days stay in Sukhothai. Baan Rim Klong is about 10 minutes (by bike which you can rent cheap) from the center of old town. Some of the monuments are even closer. The small bungalows were clean and functional. The staff was sweet and helpfull and a little shy. Food is not superb there but ok.... More

Baan Rim Klong Resort is located next to the Sukhothai Historical Park, close to the Information Center and Wat Phra Phai Luang. They offer bike rentals, so getting around is easy. They do have a car service for trips into town/bus station/airport. My room was large and clean, with a/c and TV (Thai speaking channels). They offer a small breakfast... More

Baan Rim Klong was a little further away from the bars and restaurants than anticipated but due to the time of year that we stayed, this didn't matter. It was very quiet in June and most places closed early anyway. We stayed for 2 nights and on our 1 full day we hired bicycles and cycled to and around the... More

We were able to get a cabin here during the Songkran Festival, and it was an ideal location. Very close to the National Park where all the festivities are held - just a bit farther than some of the parking areas! Easy bicycling distance to the Park. This place is a bit into the countryside, with nothing else nearby -... More

I was in town for one night and was thrilled with the cleanliness and fantastic service at this guest house. It was very peaceful and I got a great night's sleep. It is around 3k from the historical village, but I walked it fine and they rent bikes from the guesthouse for 50B. Additionally, the staff will call for a... More

We spent 2 nights there having read other reviews on TA. It's very close to the National Park but in a very quiet area. We were on a rented motorbike so it was very easy for us to travel in to the small town in the evening for food - if you don't have your own transport you might want... More

We stayed here during the first week of December 2011. This place is run by an extremely friendly family consisting of the young sisters Kook and Keek and their parents. Although not much English is spoken by them this is absolutely no problem at all. Somehow we always got understood without too many difficulties. They will do everything to make... More
