Nothing fancy here, a nice looking room that shares a bathroom with 6 or more other rooms. Not great, at least there could be separate toilets.... The room was clean, but very warm and the fan didn't seem to manage to cool it down. It is located only 2minutes away from the bus stop to the Old City so that... More

I was disappointed by the recommendations of Lonely Planet for New Sukhothai. Then I found The Garden House just between all these not-worthy-anymore guesthouses in the guesthouse area. I was warmly welcomed and was shown a small but cosy wooden bungalow for 300B. The bungalow was efficient cooled by a fan and even had a tiny private bathroom for that... More

First things first, this is a BUDGET accommodation. If you're looking for 5 star value at $7/night you should keep looking. That being said, I enjoyed my stay here. It was in a good location of New Sukhothai, very close to a 7-11, many restaurants, and a songthaew route. There are also tuk tuk drivers that hang out very close... More

Its amusing reading these reviews as I agree with one reviewer in that this accommodation is cheap and basic so have appropriate expectations. If you want luxurious, large rooms with aircon that blasts cold air then pay more and go to a hotel. I think some of these reviews are unfair to the hotel. I had a fanned room and... More

Bungalows are clean if a little small, note: ask them to spray for mosquitos when you come back. Nice little bar to relax and chat with the other guests, all mostly backpackers, just on the edge of town, it's ok.

We stayed for 2 nights to rest after a long trip from southern Thailand. We paid 350 THB per night for a fan bungalow. Room is small but comfortable. Wifi and seating area in front are good. Close to local bars and restaurants. There isn't much to see or do in new Sukhothai and may have been better going straight... More

I stayed in one of the bungalows with AC for 450 bath, and I found the room very clean, small but confortable.Plus the air condition help me endure those very hot days, and is located in the street of all the other hostals. But sincerely, I will not stay there again. The lady in the front desk is horrible. Everytime... More

We stayed one night in a room in the main house. First of all, the bed is basically a table. Second, the room is an oven. Even at max power the ceiling fan couldn't keep the heat at bay at night. And during the day, forget it. It was actually hotter in our room than outside. It's the hot season... More

We just payed 375 Bath per night for two persons. We had our own bungalow with a private bathroom. The room was small but nice. The beds were very comfortable. The lobby was large and very welcoming. You can sit and enjoy movies if you want to. The breakfast was cheap and good, the kitchen also seemed quite clean. Unfortunately,... More

I know that the world has become a place of lies and deceit, but this still is not acceptable behavior to me. I was lied to 3 times during my one night stay here and therefore have no interest in recommending this place to anyone. In addition, there are no smiles or friendliness from any of the staff except on... More
