We stayed here for 2 nights and when we arrived from Bangkok we had a good welcome from the staff, they provided us with cold towels, water and an explanation of how to move around. We had free bicycles to get to the town. Rooms are clean, good price, nice location with beautiful garden and near the bus. Food in... More

Lovely guesthouse in 'jungle' setting. Sabaidee is a little way from the center of Sukhothai but it's worth it! Feels very secluded and there is a jungle vibe. Also bikes are free to hire so you can get into town easily. Individual bunglows are very nice and feel private. The communal area is great, very relaxing. Staff are helpful. The... More

We have stayed in this guesthouse for 4 nights during the last Loi Kratong festival. The guesthouse was full for this period, so we only could book the first and last nights in advance via booking.com. Upon arrival, the owner has managed to let us stay in the same room for the same rate (400 thb) for the "missing" nights... More

This is by far the worst guesthouse, we have ever encountered in our trip through the whole of Southeast-Asia. As it happened to other guests before (see other reviews) they did not find our reservation, which we made via phone only one day earlier for 3 nights with the same guy! He had told us to call when we arrive... More

Before this point, I'd been in Thailand for roughly four weeks travelling around mainly the south and I felt that everyone was out to rip me off, everyone wanted your money and you didn't get customer service back for it and that it was generally a place that decieved expectations. However upon entering this lovely guesthouse everything changed, staff are... More

We stayed here in mid August for 2 nights for 400bhat per night - exceptional value for the standard. Try not to get a bungalow right next to the restaurant as it can get a little noisy but otherwise this is a place with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff plus great food. Fantastic for travellers. Highly recommeded

I have to say that we felt really confortable when staying here for many reasons: The owner speaks English and French so we could comunicate very well when asking for information etc The staff was very friendly and the service was very good. As they didnt sell tabacco they... More

The restaurant and all the guest are like lost in nature you can relax as soon as you walk the door! the owner (french speaker) is welcoming with a big smile and full of usefull advices, you can have bicycles for free to make a... The owners were quite friendly, even when being woken up at 4am with an unexpected check in, provide bicycles free of charge for you to get around town and are happy to share their knowledge of the area for your benefit. The breakfast provided was the best I've had in a week in Thailand, consisting of 2 fried eggs, toast,... More

We chose the Sabaidee Guesthouse because of the recommendation in our Loney Planet. When we arrived, I noticed that I lost my pocket money. As I could'nt find it in my bags, I asked the staff to call the bus company and to ask them, if they might have found it. When the staff guy reported the owner my incident,... More
