We read about this place in the rough guide and on wikitravel, described as one of the best places to stay at Sukhothai here's our experience: First we got the double room with fan for 300 baht/night. Cheap, for a big and colourful room. But the bed was awful, I like hard beds but that was rock solid. We saw... More

Stayed here in Sukhothai for 2 nights, mainly to see the ancient city. The guesthouse was very cheap and is located around other backpacking guesthouses in new sukhothai. The staff are helpful and friendly, room basic but all you need is a bed, and I must say for thailand standards the bed was good. It's 40 metres from the bus... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in a bungalow near the back of the property for 600 Baht per night. Really nicely kept gardens and wooden bungalows with simple decor but quite nice to have a porch area to ourselves. Also good location to catch the shuttle bus to the ruins and strong wifi in rooms. Highly recommend

Not far from the bus station where you get buses to the historical park for 30 baht, this is a great place with great value. Comfortable bed, very clean, and the market nearby. I got a standard fan room for 300 baht per night, but you get a bungalow as well at an affordable rate.

This is a great place with great value. New comfy bed, very clean, and the market nearby. We could take the bus to the temples and ruins for 30 baht. Great place- needed to ask for a map and recommendations but that seems to be usual. Good value for your money.

Stayed in the standard fan room you can also get a bungalow, it was clean which is the first thing you want out of a guesthouse. Food was great with larger portions than average for Thailand. It is right in the middle of everything 3 min walk to sorgntaeu stop (improvised buses that take you to the empire's ruins) an... More

We stayed here in a double room with fan for 2 nights and paid 300bt per night. It's brilliant for the money - good internet that works in rooms, hot shower, nice double bed. The staff are friendly, and it's in a good location, close to restaurants and a 7-11 where the songs haws take you to the old town.... More

The staff here are really friendly including the receptionists and maids- it makes all the difference. Room had good shower, big comfy bed and a/c that was extremely powerful! You pay extra for breakfast so there is a wide selection. Good value!

Very comfortable bed with fresh linen and warm duvet. Room with fan is very large with handy seat and towel/clothes rack. Shower wasn't terribly hot, just like warm. A separate wash basin was quite dirty but is largely exposed to the outside. Overall a comfy stay & value for money. Good location, wifi pretty good yet sometimes slow. Try the... More

The TR Guesthouse is located on a tiny strip of traveller cafes and hotels. It offers rooms, but also has a small number of bungalows out the back. We rented two bungalows for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 8). The bungalows provide a nice quiet haven away from the main house. They are... More
