Big, clean, comfortable room with nice decor in a lovely location. Staff were so friendly and made us feel 'at home'! They made me traditional thai food, but made it vegetarian with no bother! They seemed so happy that I enjoyed the food, they offered to make me other vegetarian dishes the next day!! Also, the breakfast is amazing and... More

I read in the reviews that it would be loud and expected the worst, but it wasn't that bad! Just the kind of noise you expect in a charming old traditional home! My room was beautiful, all dark wood, with a clean bathroom. There were mosquitoes at night, definitely no fleas anywhere. The breakfast is great - you can choose... More

We've been back in the U.S. for two weeks but I find myself smiling when I think back on our excellent four-day stay in this lovely and welcoming guesthouse. I can't recommend it highly enough. My husband and I chose to stay in one of the pondside studio bungalows behind the vintage teak guesthouse and found it entirely comfortable and... More

Booked a room with two twin beds and a fan. At night there are mosquitoes and fleas. Make sure you have your own mosquito netting and wear bug off to bed. Rooms share half walls so be aware that conversations can be overheard. The bed was the most comfortable of guesthouses. Firm mattress, but with some give. Staff is very... More

The rooms are full of mosquitoes and beds full of fleas. We left full of bug bites at 1:00 a.m. We couldnt sleep for a second, the whole night scratching the bites of the thousands of bugs un the room. Not recommended at all, they should clean up the rooms.

I can't say enough about this place! The staff so friendly, the accommodations so nice, the vibe and homeyness great! Came here for just one night after staying in old sukhothai for one night and it's just what I needed. Staff sent a tuk tuk to pick me up in old sukhothai for free!

The old wooden guesthouse is actually newly built with new bungalows in the back with tvs. The upstairs is nice but can be hot and noisy. The older bungalows on the side are simply decorated but they have air con and are a nice size with ground floor access.

I would recommend this lovely and quiet guesthouse. The room and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast was amazing and included. I slept in a room in the house, but there are also bungalows in the garden. My bathroom was on the hallway, but I was the only user. I really enjoyed my stay.

At Home Sukhothai actually saw a lot of us during our visit to Thailand - my husband and I stayed in one of the adorable bungalows for a few days, and were joined by our daughter from Canada, who stayed in the Guest House itself. When daughter and I headed off to spend six days at the wondrous Boon Lott's... More

At home Sukhothai is a wodden 2 floor building. The rooms are cosy and clean. The downside: the walls consist of one layer of wood and are not tight --> need good earplugs to get a good amount of sleep. Atmosphere is pretty cool though. The staff is friendly when you approach them. Prices are in our opinion slightly too... More

Thank you for your valuable comments. Yes, we agree with you that our room is not very sound-proved because it is the nature of the wooden Thai home. When we had this house renovated, we were trying to keep the atmosphere of the old day but it is the problem. That is the reason why we put the note in... More
