P. Guesthouse is undoubtedly THE place to stay in terms of location and value for money. The whole area is postcard stuff, a quiet, green, clean, stone and wood complex with charming little cabins. The fan rooms are excellent value at 300B, though strangely there's no midrange option and the jump to air con is a somewhat staggering 950B. Views... More

Simple, clean and nicely located on the lake. Terrible wifi however. Food was good. Service a bit slow. No elevator so if carrying your bags up stairs or if stairs in general are bad for you be sure to request a main floor room. Close to town.

I have to say the place is wonderful, beautiful view of the lake and very nice rooms but the receptionists are very unfriendly and I can't accept they can trust the client, they ask 100 bath deposits for the key of the room or for the umbrella! Plus for a room of 300 bath they want more money for the towels... More

Great location with a beautiful view of the pagoda, the Mon Bridge and amazing sunset over the river. Long tail boat ride to the underwater temple nearby and an early morning walk over the bridge into the village to watch the local monks receiving offerings were two of the highlight activities from the hotel. American style bar was ok, but... More

P-Guesthouse is one of the first guesthouses in Sangkhla Buri, mostly focusing on backpackers and eco-tourism. The guesthouse has an old part, somewhat dilapidated, a number of rock-stone blockhouses with rudimentary accommodation with common ablution and a number of VIP air-conditioned guestrooms, all with splendid view over the lake and idyllic by sunset. Food is OK and still one of... More

This place has a stunning location and the exterior is superb. Unfortunately it did not work out as being the ideal place it looks. The price range is a bit strange. 300bht and then jumps to 950Bht with nothing inbetween. The cheaper rooms vary in position but none have ensuite (which we did not know on arrival) We swapped with... More

We stayed there in December. The location initially impressed us. However, once tried to open the window, it broke. We then asked for extra towel as we have a child. They told us to pay for that with a deposit. How come we pay the package "per person" but still have to pay for our towel? Speeless. !! There was... More

We used this hotel again during our bicycling trip from Ayutthaya to the Three Pagoda Pass and back. It remains our favorite in Sangkhlaburi. From the guest house you have a beautiful view over the Khao Laem Reservoir and you can easily observe the sunken temple, Wat Wang Wiwekaram, the Chedi Luang Phor Uttama and the wooden Mon bridge.
