Perhaps a new name for the hotel is appropriate as the grandness is now needing to be refreshed and the situation is not riverside. Nevertheless the public areas and bedrooms are spacious and well cared for. Despite a very late arrival by train we were warmly welcomed and soon able to,enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. The town centre is on... More

This hotel is very nice, a grand looking lounge. Good central location, a five minute walk from the bridge across to the main town and the night bazzar. When we visited Phitsanulok food festival was going on so was a great base to see that. Lovely views from the seventh floor. The room was very large, airy and comfortable. Was... More

From the number of stars I expected much better quality. Wifi/internet is so bad I can't use it for more than a minute or two. Lights burned out in the room, desk light started flashing on and off and had to turn it off. Need was comfortable however. I was too tired to have them fix it but I suspect... More

Looks good and must have been really good when new but showing signs of wear & tear with smelly carpets and the worst check-in service I have encountered in my travels across Thailand. The positives was that the breakfast was good (they even have a proper nescafe coffee machine ;-) and the service was just okay. Oh try and not... More

Good views of the river, breakfast on the deck very nice good choices. No tea of coffee facilities, no jug in room. So be prepared to use room service or go out for it. Walking distance to eateries, Staff friendly and helpful, be aware the check-in staff have limited but adequate English.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We were here 5 nights in Dec 2013 as part of a school group. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and had very comfortable beds. Tea/coffee facilities, refrigerator and bottled water. The breakfast was great - plenty of options. Good laundry service. I would definitely stay here... More

It was lovely to enter a clean room with a large view of the city, with a nicely appointed bathroom, with a great bathtub as well as shower. To take a long bath was superb. The bed was the most comfy yet...An obvious care has been taken to make sure the guest is comforted during their stay. Yay!!

We stayed at the Grand Riverside on our way to Phrae, just for an overnight. The hotel is conveniently located opposite the Phitsanulok Night Bazaar on the right bank of the Nan River, 500 meters from the Phitsanulok Railway Station and 1 Km from the main attractions such as Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, Wat Racha Burana and Wat Nang...
