Myself and my wife stayed for 2 nights - fantastic value - we were driving - we were met outside the entrance - car parked for us - luggage unloaded - reception the most quick, efficient and helpful - asked for a deluxe room - which were available on 6th and 15th Floor - fantastic room - great view, great... more

Had a one night stop at this hotel as part of a tour. The pool was very welcoming but that was about the only highlight of the hotel. Okay but not a lot else to said more

We stayed at Topland for two nights, March 7 and 8/2008 Our first impression was good. Huge beautiful lobby and good reception at the front desk. We got what we wanted: non smoking room, higher up . We got the14th floor. Great view of the city.Quiet. Elevators very acceptable. Rooms are huge with wood trimming finish. Very clean. Large bathroom,... more

Would never want to stay here again...stayed one night only as part of a tour. The room although spacious smelled horrible. Even opening the windows which defeated the object of AC did nothing to improve the matter. As we were spending the evening out of the hotel and moving on at 6.00am next morning we decided to put up and... more

We were on a SmarTour and had a one stay at the Topland. It was on par with a Motel 6. The rooms were large; the AC worked; there were few TV channels; the bed was fine but the room had a shabby look about it. It was in need of paint and an update. The staff was helpful and... more

Stayed here with SmarTours. We were a triple and the room was comfortable for the three of us. Just an average hotel room, maybe a little dated, but we were just there for one night, so no big deal. Located next to a department store with several fast food outlets and a short tuk tuk ride to the night market. more

We stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a trip around the world. We had a few problems checking in because the staff there didn't speak very good English. The hotel is quite dated but the facilities are adequate. The room was on a high floor and had a very good view of the surrounding area. The... more

One night stay between Bangkok and Chiang Mai. The hotel is connected to a mall, which was very convenient with bank/currency exchange and grocery in bottom floor! Only night that I had KFC instead of phat thai, but the more memorable culinary experience was on the pedi-cab tour (200 baht) sampled fried bugs and flying vegetables at the night market!... more

I had room 919 for 1200 baht per night in October 2006, including taxes and breakfast. Room and view were very nice. Internet service in hotel is 120 baht per hour, or you can walk left out the front door of the hotel and find it for only 20 per hour. TV channels dismal; only 1 movie channel in English;... more
