Golden Buddha Beach was the best, most peaceful getaway we have found from the hustle of Bangkok. Imagine 10 km beach of golden sand - with no one else on it - and also very comfortable and unique houses and delicious food. Our 5 days at Baan Dee were both rustic (no electricity except from 5 to 11pm) and luxurious... more

Stayed 3 nights and wish it had been longer. Planning to go back in the wet season in July. Thanya, Pena and staff were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. Had booked Baan Marina but were moved to Baan Tamarin due to some workers at a house nearby Marina - much appreciated as we really did want to relax... more

This one of those places left on this planet. Wonderfully unspoiled. Takes a 1 1/2 hour boat trip to impressive mangroves to get there. The staff will pick you up and take you to what will be your home. The villas are nicely designed in oriental style and have great views on the Andaman sea. The beach is always within... more

We had 5 nights in Baan Sabaijai the most beautiful to our eyes accommodation, my daugher loved the upstairs sleeping loft with it's own balcony. The attached sala was wonderful to sit in and relax with a book or drink. It was roomy and well laid out and it's open air style worked really well. The cleaners were very good at keeping it... more

A truly super experience. The entire journey was magical. From Bangkok to Phuket by air [one can do the trip overnight by luxury bus as well], and was picked-up at the airport by a car arranged by Golden Buddha Resorts [thanks to their super efficient Manageress - Khun Thanya]. 2 hour drive along the Andaman coast to the pier at... more

Unique and amazing. Totally different from other places. Isolated, remote, beautiful - it has it all! Savannahs, sand dunes, beach (16km), mangroves, jungle, monkeys, lizards, lagoon, hills, rocks... It is not cheap nor quick to get to, but it is worth it. We spent three nights there in a 4 week holiday in Thailand. For the first two nights, we... more

We booked for a fortnight in the 'off season'. The resort is absolutely as all the other reviews describe. It's beautiful, it is isolated, it is on the beach front. and it is on the edge of jungle, with all the associated wildlife. It was a full moon whilst we were there, and the difference that made to the quantity... more

I wanted a peaceful getaway where i could find space to be quiet, read, meditate, do yoga and golden buddha gave me all of that and so much more. Thanya, the manager, is a super star. Firstly, I booked in the rainy season and was the only guest for the first 2 night...Thanya sat and asked to join me for... more

Golden Buddha Beach is a remote spot and something unique in Thailand – a place almost deserted. You can walk along the beach and see no people for hours. If it is kind of place you are looking for – go for it. Our baan (Mac) was basic, but very spacious, with two bathrooms (one open upstairs, one inside), two... more
