For the atmosphere and price is 5 stars. But true, don't go there unless you are broke and price matters because there is so much choice in Pai! The garden is beautiful and like a dream, right in the centre of Pai. It is very basic but good central location with toilet outside but not far away from the room.... More

I stayed for 3 nights at Mr Jan's Guesthouse and was surprised at the value. It was just over $3 for a private bungalow with it's own bathroom. Upsides: - The price! - Location - right in the middle of town - Comfortable bed - decent fan - Nice garden - privacy Downsides: - Bathroom was a little rough (they... More

Ive stayed here many times over the last 10 years! But this time, my opinions have changed; hasnt been updated or even probly cleaned since i was first here. Bathroom is sick, you'd get better in prison. Room fine if you are young, broke and dont give a dam "like i once was many years ago".In low season €3 a night,... More

Good location right in the center of the town. Peaceful place in a nice garden surrounding by flowers, herbs, tree, bamboo, it is just beautiful. Rooms are basic but clean and confortable. Good value for money. Mr Jan and his family are really nice people and they make you feel like home.

We stayed here for two nights during our trip to Pai, which is such a beautiful place to visit. It is a must to get a moped and ride out into the hills. We payed approx 300BHT for a bungalow. We had twin beds with hot water and a veranda. Our room was clean, however on leaving and checking we... More

We just stayed for one night, but we really enjoyed our stay. Good value (300THB) for a bungalow, fan and private bath.It smelled a bit mouldy. Nice veranda at the front. We could park our motorbike in a carport! The staff was quite okay.

Mr Jans offers sweet and inexpensive little bungalows with attached hot water bathrooms. The bungalows are surrounded by peaceful herbal gardens, which provide privacy and shelter from the sun. They have a designated area parking area for scooters and the bungalow area is gated. I couldn't believe my luck and stayed for much longer than intended.

In low season I paid a ridiculous 100B for a bungalow with double bed, ensuite bathroom with hot shower. I also had a balcony with seating looking out over the garden. The rooms are slightly different to each other (one person's bathroom was accessed through her patio rather than the bedroom) so have a look at a couple of rooms... More

Good value room for 200b 2 streets away from the center but very quiet. There are many good places in pai, but this is probably a very good one for a low budget. They also offer massage but we did not have a chance to check them out. If you do one thing in pai it should be walking the... More

It's a lovely place, so green and peaceful. I stayed in the dorm rooms and the bugalows both were equally nice and clean with good bath rooms. It attracts the right crowd too, we had great early evening chills in the gardens with fellow travellers.
