The staff here are so rude!!!! Never experienced customer service like it. We paid £100 baht and drinks we didn't want just to be allowed in the pool and were stared at the whole time we were there by the manager or receptionist I don't know what her job role was. She kept shouting about us to the other staff... More

After many years back in Pai, it was a different town, but The Rivercorner Hotel did not change. Spacious rooms at the end of the walkingstreet. Only 4 sunbeds at the small swimmingpool and always occupied af course. There was a close contact between reception, bar and restaurant . They shouted te orders from one to the others. The breakfast"buffet"... More

We booked this room because it had a jicuzzi with the room and we met up with old time friends. Perfect to have some beers, friends and a jicuzzi...... If the jicuzzi worked The staff were unbeliveible, we arrived at 12 and were told we couldn't check in until 2 and didn't offer to hold our luggage until we asked.... More

We stayed here for just one night whilst travelling the Mae Hong Son Loop by bike & although expensive by some peoples standards, it was well worth the money. My wife & I had a Jacuzzi room with all the bells & whistles in a very spacious room. Right at the end of the main shopping area, was remarkably peaceful... More

having stayed in Pai many times I was dissapointed to find our usual haunts fully booked, due to a public holiday for the queens birthday... So we paid slightly extra and stayed on the corner. The hotel is laid out in stand alone appartments, one down stairs and one up (up with own balcony) all the rooms are finished in... More

Great place, staff are nice, rooms are clean and roomy. Great shower, great bed. Nice swimming pool. Open and spacious design (both the rooms and the lobby). Location is good, it's in the corner of the street, so it's quiet for Pai standards. Recommended for a long or short term stay.

Pai RiverCorner Resort & Restaurant sits peacefully between the Pai River and the tradition rural market village of Pai, in a remote mountain valley mid way between Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Son in Northern Thailand.Missing pai....promises will go see you soon...:)..pai in love

As has been previously written, this resort has gone through numerous owners in the last few years & been through a renovation/upgrade programme. The outcome is a resort with pleasant gardens & relaxing pool & wonderful bedrooms. Possibly the best shower in Thailand, a large hot rain shower. Big shady balconies, with views to the river & mountain backdrop. Comfortable... More

Do not book this place as its a building site for the foreseeable future, noisy, dirty and annoying when you want peace and tranquility. Cant use the pool for the dust coming from thd workmen and the view is ruined by all the bright green plastic fencing. The staff are pretty ignorant or maybe just rude we waited nearly twenty... Second stay at this resort. Has changed owners in the last twelve months and is undergoing large upgrade so the outcome will remain to be seen. Visited this time in the quiet season - July 2012. One has to get used to the Thai way of doing things to give a real appraisal. They tend to let things run down... More
