Stayed in Room R.8. Good size and nice set up. A lot of electrical outlets. Refrigerator is available but nothing inside. The pillows are too hard. The closet is good size but a little old and requires maintenance. The staff are the highlight of the hotel. They are 110%. Free instant coffee and tea. The location is very good and... More

I booked the place for the river view and was very happy with my choice. I had a room on the first floor, with balcony shared with other rooms but large enough for each room to have it's own table and seats. The room was nicely decorated and clean. Very welcoming and helpful staff. The place was idealy located, a... More

This place is in a perfect location, within easy walking distance to all of the restaurant and bars, but not right in the center of things so it was pretty quiet at night. The rooms are extremely spacious, and though they are not fancy, they are charming. It felt like we were staying in a more traditional teak wood Thai... More

We stayed here 2 separate times. The first was in a beautiful, extremely comfortable room with a giant balcony. Very quiet and peaceful with a nice view of the pai river. The second was in a budget room. You get what you pay for. The cheap room was a walk up special of $10, clean, but basic. It was in... More

Good ambience with nice garden view and river view. The staff is helpful in providing assistance on the arrangement of the trip. Breakfast is decent with buffet style. During the night we stay in Pai, it was raining, it was enjoyable to have a beer in the balcony. The only down side is the price is not cheap.

I have stayed at Baan Tawan twice now.. the last time was about 10 years ago.. It was beautiful then, and has since been sold.. so was lovely to see that it remains beautiful.. It has a mysterious, timeless atmosphere.. is very peaceful, yet close to town.. the rooms are spacious and clean and have a lovely ambience... The staff... More

Having stayed at another place down the road for 500 baht a night I decided to upgrade for a couple of days. Wow. What a difference. Big bungalow separate from all the other rooms and with a balcony overlooking the river , fridge, and an ambience to die for. Friendly reception staff (which is more than I can say for... More

We booked one night, ended up staying 3. staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious (ours had a boucany). Breakfast was FANTASTIC! a big spread of everything. Close to town, but far enough out for it to be quiet at night. Would stay here again!

We really liked it here. It was located down a small road just off the main road of Pai so it's quiet and peaceful yet very close to all the restaurants and bars... Good value for money and staff are super friendly.

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful guest house. The owners were delightful, the rooms gorgeous and clean and the price was fantastic. Would return many times over! Highly recommended! The place also is a wonderful short walk from all of the restaurants and shops!
