I booked a room at the Pan GH through Agoda and requested a room overlooking the Mekong river. When I checked I was given a room a the back of the GH with a view of wall. Also, the room was dingy and had 3 beds squashed into the small space. I complained to the manager and they refunded my... More

I stayed here for my second day in Nongkai after I passed it by and checked out some reviews about it. The stay overall was beyond expectations. Firstly, it's just next to the market and close to the vibrant area of the city. Besides, it's just by the Mekong River. The sunset appreciated from the balcony was fantastic. Secondly, I... More

We arrived on the 19th, May hoping to stay 2 nights. We'd booked online for THB425 per night. On arrival they told us the website was very old and the price was THB700 per night. I double checked and the site was still on. We stayed for the night and then went to a different place. It's sad when we... More

We stayed 5 nights in room #1 with a fabulous view of the Mekong- even from our bed. Hosts provide coffee in the room, bread, bottled water, bikes, and daily cleaned sheets and towels. The owners are very thoughtful in all ways. The Saturday night market is just below the balcony -couldn't be any more convenient. We loved being here.

Pan Guesthouse is worth for your money that you pay for the room. The room is so clean and comfortable. The owner is lovely. It is so quiet for who want to get away from the city. The guesthouse is right in front of the Mae Khong River you can see the beautiful view of the river all day. Especially... More

I stayed at this guesthouse, which is located by the Mekong and easy to travel to anywhere in Nongkhai and close to some nice street food area and restaurants, just for one night but it was one of very good experiences staying in guesthouse. This place is very cheap, just 500 bht, but what I got was much more value... More

This place is amazing. Well most places are for they fill one with excitement and expectations. Pan's is right on the waterfront and after all the shops have closed one has an uninterrupted view of the Mekong. Across is Laos and therein lies the mystery, just looks like a stone's throw away. The balcony is comfortable by no means spacious... More

Pan Guesthouse is in a perfect location on the Mekong; right outside the front door is the center of Nong Khai's lovely riverfront promenade with lots of relaxed outdoor and indoor restaurants, and friendly locals strolling the riverfront - lots of Thai tourists seem to make the day trip here from Udon Thani. Directly behind the guesthouse is the Tha... More

From the busride before I came to Nong Khai I caught a cold. But the host took so good care for me. They gave me some medicine, a hot chocolate, tea, water....just everything to get me feel better. They're so great, I'll definitely be back.
