This time on our visit to Mae sai we stay this hotel on the mainroad in the center and not far from the border, for us on walking distance. There are a lot of shops in the direct area of the hotel. We could park our car on the hotel parking wich is guarded and als have a place for... More

The hotel is located on the main street and just blocks from the border with Myanmar. As others have mentioned, it likely is the best of a less than stellar litter of hotels. The basics are certainly there and it was clean, but it badly needs a remodel effort. The A/C unit sounded like a jet engine. Staff are welcoming.... More

Our guide told us this about the hotel, and we think he was right. It is clean, rooms are spacious and it is not far from the border (interesting walk with market). Breakfast is mostly thai, with little variety for foreigners.

Our group of 8 joined a 3D2N tour in North Thailand and our agency arranged this hotel for us for a night. It's near the border crossing to Burma. The hotel has a decent lobby and the room is tidy clean comfy spacious. The shower is very strong which is a plus. Breakfast is a buffet and yummy, always refill.... More

We read about this place before arriving, wanted to take tuktuk to there from the border, but there weren't any available. Started walking and within 5 minutes we arrived there. In the morning we took the local bus in front of the hotel to the busstation and drove to Chinag Rai from there. The room was very big and clean and was... More

My family and I were pleasantly surprised to find a nice, clean hotel in a small border town like Mae Sai. The staff were polite and it is quite nicely decorated. I hope the management will maintain the hotel well and keep up with the high quality.

The hotel's location isn't perfect as it's quite a long walk to the border, but there's plenty of commercial entertainment along the way and lots of food vendors at night in a town with very few restaurants. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. Good bed, good bathroom. Friendly service. Wifi was fast. Breakfast was the usual OK mix of... More

The title says it all really, it's clean and the staff are friendly so it's worth 4 stars on that alone bearing in mind the awful quality of most hotels in Mae Sai. It's actually quite nicely decorated, the air con works well and it feels better then it costs. Usually I pay about 800 here for two of us... More

Service is good, rooms are fine and clean. The Piyaporn has now 3 hotels here in Mae Sai, so the place is getting better accomodations now. We stayed here in low season, so ample rooms available for about 25 US$.
