We adored our room at the Riverside Guest house, and our only regret is that we planned only two days in Lampang. The town is wonderful and off the tourism map, with much to see and do, and is particularly charming in its old teak vernacular architecture, abundance of lush gardens and famous horse carts. The Riverside reflects the charms... More

This is a great guest house, very relaxing location and attentive staff. Our room looked over the river with a lovely veranda. The bed was the best, sheet were crisp and clean with that lovely felling I can't get at home. The bed was big enough for 2 adults to sleep comfortably. The shower had good pressure and plenty of... Great place to stay. Comfortable bed, clean and cozy rooms with nice decor. Very nice garden and seating outside along the river. Friendly staff and their banana jam is to die for. Will definitely stay here again. Only con is the barking dogs that neighbor the guesthouse which woke me up both nights. The night market is also close by... More

Lorenza runs a very nice guest house, does everything she can to please and gives information and directions with a smile. If you are looking for a private and quiet room, this may not be the place for you. The building is a beautiful old teak mansion but the walls between rooms do not quite reach the ceiling, so one... My partner and I stayed at this guesthouse in Lampang for a few days before heading to Chiang Mai. We stayed in the cheapest price room- 450B/night- which was small but very cosy. The shower was lovely and hot and powerful and the bed very comfortable. The location was ideal- the restaurant overlooks the river- and it was just a... More

They really need to do something about that dog, it gets mentioned in many reviews, but really it doesn't stop and the second night it went nuts at about 4am so yep everyone awake. Bearing in mind this is with all the shutters closed, the bathroom door closed and with silicone earplugs in. There is also the noise from mopeds... More

Every room at this place is different so look at a few if you can. The double beds were tiny, if you like your own space on the bed this place is not for you. Our room was on the road side so we could hear every motorbike that drove by, and they are constantly driving by. The walls are... More

The hotel is very quiet and the terrace is very nice. The room was comfortable but the windows opened almost directly on the restaurant area. The owner gave us an annotated map which proved very helpful to discover Lampang (worth to make a stop between Chiang Mai and Sukothai). The breakfast was good (I had a very good banana and... More

This weekend we stayed at the Riverside guest house in Lampang. We booked this guest house because it looked nice on the internet. The first night the very friendly Italian / Belgian owner did not have any airconditioned rooms available so we stayed in very basic rooms with a ventilator. I do recommend the rooms with airco that are a... More

We stayed in another guesthouse nearby but they don't serve breakfast. When I walked in early morning (gate looked closed, but just open the iron door..) I was greated friendly and served well. Coffee, real filter and tasty. Toast, fresh. Yoghurt with banana and gember/ginger, delicious! So take a look if you need food. Sitting is nice and quiet, music... More
