I stay here whenever I'm in Lampang city. I've stayed in the colonial suite, room 9, 15 (double bed, private bathroom), and room 12 (triple room, shared bathroom), and room 5 (double/triple, private bathroom). I've had good experiences with all of these rooms, although other than the colonial suite they all have fans only and no a/c, which is absolutely... More

I stayed here for one night on business recently. The guesthouse is quiet, the location is good, right on the river(not much of a river so don't be disappointed) and the buildings are all timber. Good restaurant overlooking the river, felt just like a guest house should, like you were staying with relatives. Good ac, quaint effective bathroom, grounds are... More

The place has a rustic and authentic feel whilst still peaceful calm and some luxury. The single room I took was 250 baht. Very nice smelling fresh sheets and pillow! And roomwas wooden with small balcony area ... perfect for relaxing. Riverfront restauarant is beautiful with also nice couches etc. There are some awesome Harley Davidson bikes and a Leeds... More

I meant to give this 3.5/5 stars, but was unable. The chick who operates the guesthouse is friendly, and helpful. I thought the American breakfast for 170B was a bit pricey, considering most places in the region include a free breakfast, or at least free coffee. Sitting by the river was serene at night, but I didn't like the barking... More

We adored our room at the Riverside Guest house, and our only regret is that we planned only two days in Lampang. The town is wonderful and off the tourism map, with much to see and do, and is particularly charming in its old teak vernacular architecture, abundance of lush gardens and famous horse carts. The Riverside reflects the charms... More

This is a great guest house, very relaxing location and attentive staff. Our room looked over the river with a lovely veranda. The bed was the best, sheet were crisp and clean with that lovely felling I can't get at home. The bed was big enough for 2 adults to sleep comfortably. The shower had good pressure and plenty of... Great place to stay. Comfortable bed, clean and cozy rooms with nice decor. Very nice garden and seating outside along the river. Friendly staff and their banana jam is to die for. Will definitely stay here again. Only con is the barking dogs that neighbor the guesthouse which woke me up both nights. The night market is also close by... More

Lorenza runs a very nice guest house, does everything she can to please and gives information and directions with a smile. If you are looking for a private and quiet room, this may not be the place for you. The building is a beautiful old teak mansion but the walls between rooms do not quite reach the ceiling, so one... My partner and I stayed at this guesthouse in Lampang for a few days before heading to Chiang Mai. We stayed in the cheapest price room- 450B/night- which was small but very cosy. The shower was lovely and hot and powerful and the bed very comfortable. The location was ideal- the restaurant overlooks the river- and it was just a... More

They really need to do something about that dog, it gets mentioned in many reviews, but really it doesn't stop and the second night it went nuts at about 4am so yep everyone awake. Bearing in mind this is with all the shutters closed, the bathroom door closed and with silicone earplugs in. There is also the noise from mopeds... More
