I passed my OPEN WATER certificate with Buddha view. I can just recommend you this dive resort for any kind of dive certification. Ask for SEAMES as your dive instructor, really pro and cool! I got a package in Bangkok near Kao San Road which included with the Open Water course, free accomodation for 4 nights, free transport to the... More

Firstly check-in was very good with very nice lady from Norway (sorry we forget your name). She was very good at providing us with information and any questions we may have had. Unfortunately the other lady taking our reservation and filling out futher tickets for ferries and taxi was very abrupt, inaccurate with form completion and no eye contact what... More

I learnt to dive here. All the staff are really friendly and easy to hang out with whether it's while learning to dive or in the bar in the evening. Really chilled out vibe where everyone is just totally in love with diving! Can't recommend enough - so glad I started my diving experiences here. The dives are great and... More

Spent five nights at this resort with my buddy, we are both 28. We did the open water diving course and it was an awesome, unforgettable experience. The gear they provide you is great and the instructors are especially helpful. Our instructor was Wayne and he has quite the British humor about him. He knows when to crack a joke... More

Unless you plan to dive, do not stay in this establishment. The staff are far from welcoming, in fact, patronising. Who would not offer to help two young females carry their heavy belongings up steep stairs!? Nothing about the diving experience was explained or offered to us, the only things explained were restaurant opening times (not appreciated). Other than the... More

So expensive for people who arn't diving. If your staying on Ko Tao and not diving then there are so may gorgeous hotels to stay at for the same price and a stark difference, we talking pure luxury for the same price somewhere else, even somewhere cheaper will be better. The beds are very uncomfortable, the sheets were clean but... More

The positives - The island and the bay are gorgeous Lovely diving instructors and dive trips That's it The negatives - Very rude reception and bar/waiting staff (you feel like a trespasser!) Accommodation is worse than the cheapest hostels iv ever seen. No hot water. Ever. You have to pay for wifi that doesn't work when everywhere else on the... More

Beautiful bay. Good food. Nice bar. Ok free room when you get your Open Water Certification. Not worth coming here just to sleep. As nice as the rooms are, it is really noisy pretty much every night because of the bar. Very good team of instructors but the groups are quite big here.

The hotel is fantastically located away from the busy main beach of the Island in another bay, right on the a small beach. It is a perfect location and although far away from the main bars and clubs the Buddha bar and bars next door will give you a great place to chill after a days diving. All transfers from... More

DIVING: I made an Open Water Certification in Buddha View which was the only good experience there. My diving instructor was excellent: very friendly, professional and wanting its students to have the best diving experience possible. ACCOMODATION: However I have not experienced in 3 weeks in Thailand such an unfriendly person at the recpetion desk as in Buddha View. The... More
