We had the pleasure of staying at Jamahkiri for one night (which was absolutely not enough time). I was pleasantly surprised with the resort! We called the hotel at the last minute to request a pick up from the ferry and they were very accommodating. The check in process was very easy & informative. We got a brief tour of... More

Set on a hillside this charming resort has spectacular views and amazing customer service. The pool is charming and offers a great view of the bay. Towels are readily available and the fresh smoothies at the bar are tasty (only 150 baht). The spa is worth a visit. The aloe wrap is good for a bit too much sun and... More

Stayed in this hotel in April whilst island hopping for a month round Thailand this was our last beach resort before heading off for our last stop to Bangkok City. Well this hotel is just what we needed, pure relaxation with breath taking views & luxurious rooms. The views from our balcony were just out of this world it felt... More

The hotel is positioned so that every room has a beautiful view of the sea. All the rooms are also large and luxurious and the swimming pool is immaculate. The hotel also have their own in-house scuba diving club which provide a high quality and the most comfortable diving experience I've tried on the island after many visits.

Stayed here for a few days this past week. We weren't sure what to expect having been to Phuket and Samui before arriving in Tao. I just want to say that this resort has such an amazingly unique feel to it. You absolutely cannot beat the views here! The best I've seen in my time in Thailand. Prior to arriving... More

Loved this hotel, Helpful and friendly staff, especially French Manager, magnificent views, snorkelly easily accessible from hotel, also walks to other resorts, as long as you are fit to climb many steps and hills. 1st class hotel.

Unique, boutique, with a quirky but very classy design, you'll not find anything like this anywhere else. I've stayed at many places in Koh Tao, Thailand and the world and Jamahkiri is truly special. The views, the pool, the selection of top shelf imports, the quiet lush rooms, not to mention the restaurant that serves the best breakfast on the... More

Although there are alot of steps around this resort you soon get used to going up and down them! Pool area was very nice and the staff were friendly. Rooms were very clean and the view was lovely. There was a good selection for breakfast.

It is a beautiful hotel with an adorable reef, you can see even sharks on it, but only few good corals. Rooms are big and air-conditioned, views are perfect from all rooms. BUT...The hotel is poorly managed. For example, cockroaches on the table in the restaurant are unacceptable for the hotel tending to be "luxurious", as they propose themselves. Another... More

We stayed at Jamahkiri for 4 nights in April and were very happy with it. It is built into a steep mountainside and our room (a pavillion) had a spectacular view of the sea and a large balcony and we found it very clean and comfortable. While there is not direct access to a beach, there is direct access to... More
