Unique, boutique, with a quirky but very classy design, you'll not find anything like this anywhere else. I've stayed at many places in Koh Tao, Thailand and the world and Jamahkiri is truly special. The views, the pool, the selection of top shelf imports, the quiet lush rooms, not to mention the restaurant that serves the best breakfast on the... More

Although there are alot of steps around this resort you soon get used to going up and down them! Pool area was very nice and the staff were friendly. Rooms were very clean and the view was lovely. There was a good selection for breakfast.

It is a beautiful hotel with an adorable reef, you can see even sharks on it, but only few good corals. Rooms are big and air-conditioned, views are perfect from all rooms. BUT...The hotel is poorly managed. For example, cockroaches on the table in the restaurant are unacceptable for the hotel tending to be "luxurious", as they propose themselves. Another... More

We stayed at Jamahkiri for 4 nights in April and were very happy with it. It is built into a steep mountainside and our room (a pavillion) had a spectacular view of the sea and a large balcony and we found it very clean and comfortable. While there is not direct access to a beach, there is direct access to... More

Jamahkiri offers a free transfer from their office in mae haad, which is great, although there are set times, it departs mae haad at half past the hour and the return is on the hour from the resort. You do have to pay 500 THB per person to use the swimming pool up here, even if you are having Spa... More

A breathtaking view Try not to depend too much on hotel's transportation. Very good food at the hotel's restaurant. Breakfast is very poor. Hotel's spa is great!!! Try one of the spa's packages,a great value for money. Staff is great The overall cleanliness was poor. Do not disturb sign was not respected. There is a Problem with the hot water... More

Stayed at this hotel with my famliy (wife and 3 kids) during Eastern in beginning of April 2015. Some good things first - the hotel is nicely kept, they all speak English (if that is a requirement) and you have plenty of opportunity to snorkle with reef sharks at the bay where the hotel is located. However, there's only one... More

Very clean hotel, nice staff, quite and romantic place. Access is difficult (that's why it's a calm place) but free shuttle service to (3 per day) and from the town (2 per day). (taxi will charge 400b for Hotel to town, according to the hotel). We rent a bike (Honda click), ok even if the road is a little bit... More

Positioned between Sai Daeng Beach and Thian Og Bay this resort is the ideal place if you love snorkeling. You don't need to rent a boat, just in front of the hotel you will see black tip reef sharks (not dangerous) and green turtles (if you are lucky). Equipment can be rent for only 100 THB for all the family.... More
