My family stayed here for a week to 'chill out' after time in Bangkok. Every aspect of the hotel lived up to high expectations. The rooms in the new block and superbly furnished, have lovely sea views and effective air conditioning. They are exceptionally good value at the opening offer rate of BHT3,900 a night, including breakfast. For me there... more

I have to say that this is the most beautiful resort that I have ever stayd at. Thinking of Jamahkiri makes me warm at heart on a cold and rainy day back home. I really recommend this hotel! It may not be a good place for familys with small children, because there are so many stars and it's situated on... more

I have visited Koh Tao on a number of occasions and until now, you had a choice of back packer accommodation or expensive resorts trying to be luxurious but whilst having the views couldn’t provide the necessary service nor room quality! This has now changed with Jamahkiri who have now opened a new hotel up in the hills. They have... more

Arriving to the island on the boat we could see the resort and were already impressed. We stayed in a suite, the room was fantastic very big and cosy. The views from the balcony can't be described with words, they have to be seen. The personel at the hotel were very friendly at all times, and the food at the... more

We stayed at this hotel for four nights in a deluxe pavilion (part of the 'older' section of the hotel) as part of our honeymoon. Out of the five hotels (in Phi Phi, Ko Racha, Ko Lanta & Phuket)I would rate this one the highest. The view from the room was amazing and the room was well furnished and modern.... more

Whilst on Ko Tao 'roughing it' and scuba diving, my boyfriend insisted on taking me somewhere nice for my birthday. He apparentally found Jamahkiri by walking down the Mae Had High St and seeing there travel agency. And let me tell you it was a very very lucky find. I believe he had an introductory price for there newly extended... more

After going for the day spa treatments and deciding to stay longer on Koh Tao..my partner and I decided to check into one of the new rooms that have just opened at Jamahkiri as a bit of an early birthday treat for me! What great value these rooms are...spacious, amazing view, really comfortable bed and great bathroom ( rain shower... more

Jamahkiri is a rare find in Thailand- a 'boutique hotel' that really is that. Don't go if you're looking for nightlife and a wide choice of cuisine and activities as the hotel is a bit isolated along a dirt track (though they do offer a free shuttle service until late), but if you're looking for a relaxing break away from... more

A lovely place nestled on the hillside next to shark bay on the corner of Koh Tao. Yes its a real wild road to get there , but the resort offers free shuttles every hour on 4 wheel drives to take you into the busier places of koh tao and the expirience is great fun, makes you feel a real adventurer.Taxis... more

My wife and I booked only a couple of nights here as part of a trip to the 3 islands, but once we were there we decided to stay one week! The resort's design is amazing as well as beautiful, and being right on a hillface ending in the water, the view of the bay and sea from everywhere is... more
