1)no air con In the room even though it was advertised. 2) Place was expensive 400 bht per bed per night. 3) Staff was not helpful or friendly. 4) Charged for water even though they had a water cooler

Loved this diving school! Staff was friendly and very helpful. Excellent PADI open water training for a very competitive price.... including stay in a four-persons dorm room with bathroom. Which was totally ok for us, a family of four with three kids ages 12-16. Upon booking we requested a Dutch speaking instructor. None of their staff is Dutch speaking, but... More

We went for the basic mountain view room and it was brilliant! The view from our room overlooked the whole resort and we could still see the sea. It was up a number of very steep staircases (so if you struggle with steps go for the beach front places!) but worth the trip! We felt as though we were all... More

Really enjoyed our stay. We were in the mountain area which is a bit steep to get to but was fine for us and 2 of our rooms had great views of the bay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would certainly recommend ko Tao resort. The lower pool was fabulous. And the paradise area and pool well worth the steep... More

We had 3 rooms with 3 couples and 3 children. The rooms interconnect which we didn't realise but was an added bonus. This didn't mean noise travelled through them easily though. All had slightly dated decor but were clean and we'll kept throughout the stay. Towels were provided fir showers and the beach (not mentioned on tge website). The staff... More

I stayed here for a week with my extended family (6 adults, 3 kids under 5) and before arriving was slightly concerned about previous reviews. They were completely unfounded. We stayed in the beach zone so I can't comment on the paradise zone. The hotel is spread along the far end of the beach so is quiet and feels like... More

A great spot and lovely hotel. The rooms were clean and literally a stones throw from both pools and the beach. We ate breakfast each morning at the hotel restaurant where there was an impressive array of choice for even the fussiest of eaters! We also ate many lunches & dinners in the restaurant with our children and were all... More

We stayed 7 nights and had a great time. After hours and hours of research I think this resort is well priced for what it is, based on the fact that nice places in Ko Tao are more expensive than elsewhere in Thailand. The location is brilliant, with gorgeous views (but be aware there is coral on the beach so... More

We booked the most basic accommodation option (mountain view, air conditioning) and were pleasantly surprised by the room. It was basic but clean and located on the hillside. The beach zone's two pools were lovely, with views over the beautiful beach. The great part about the hotel is that they offer free shuttle buses up to the paradise zone of... More

I've stayed at Ko Tao Resort 10 years ago this month. And, I'm back. The bay, the views, the salt-water, the palm trees ~~ all the natural resources are as beautiful as ever. But, and here's a big <BUT> .... the resort infrastructure is now jaded, tired, smelly and under-maintained. It looks exactly as remember it years ago ... except... More
