We had a penthouse for 4 nights. The location was beautiful, though it was a walk up a hill(not for people who aren't used to some climbing). The rooms and living room/kitchen looked large and ok. Even the bathrooms and the huge terrace. But the water coming from the showers and from the kitchen were all salty! As if it... More

We wanted a secluded paradise, and Hin Wong is exactly that. The snorkeling is the best on the island, it is quiet and beautiful. Sadly, the bungalow we had, did not contribute to the romance. We knew we signed up for a primitive hut, a bed and a toilet really, which we thought we would be ok with. They gave... More

After completing a 4 day diving course out of the busy, hectic sairre beach me and my partner were looking for somewhere to relax and unwind, somewhere away from the hustle and bussle of koh tau. We consulted are lonely planet guide to see if it had any suggestions to fit the bill, from what we read it looked like hin... More

Found our way here over the top of a challenging hill (not for the faint-hearted!)- steep gradient both sides and a particularly slippery bit. The 4 wheel drive trucks and most motor bikes manage it but if there are 2 of you on the latter, there is one part where the passenger may need to get off and walk. Arrived... More

Spent two nights in a bungalow at 500 per night (same price as I paid for a bed in a noisy hostel in Bangkok) Like other reviewers say, the bungalows are definitely basic - bathroom/shower, bed, mosquito net, porch with hammock, a fan is what you're getting. There is a restaurant on the premises where many people will hang out,... More

We spent four nights in bungalow 10 which cost 600 baht per night. The bungalows are comfortable but basic so don't expect any luxuries. The electricity is turned off between 6am and 6pm (give or take half an hour) so although there is no electricity during the day you are able to use the fan to keep you cool over... More

A relatively new complex that had opened early this year does have the potential to be a great complex, but not just yet. This place has one thing that will never change, perfect scenery, which I imagine couples (main market) would come here just to experience. Things that still need to improve. 1) road infrastructure, to get to the place... More

This place is hard to rate for me as it's probably somewhere between average and very good (maybe just "good"). We didn't actually stay in a room as we were anchored in the basy for a couple of nights, but we did come ashore to eat and get provisions etc. It has to be said that the food was average... More

We stayed 4 nights in standard 350/night room (more than 1 night rate), which is very good value for Koh Tao. The bungalows are very basic but very nice and can be well ventilated throughout the day and night as the east coast seemed to get more sea breeze than the west. They also come equipped with huge mosquito nets... More

The reviews below are too god for what you can expect. It's in a remote place and only 2 services of «taxi» per day. No such thing as a sandy beach, alot of glass debris and other rubbish on the sand. HOWEVER, you eat very well for a cheap price and the bungalows have confortable beds. A lot of retired... More
