We booked 3 Nights here me and my partner. We were give coconuts on arrival which a nice touch. We booked superior which wasn't much dearer and couldn't fault it. The room was clean, spacious and balcony was huge. The only downfall was the free breakfast. We went on day one and didn't go back the other days. undercooked eggs... More

I made a tripadvisor account only so I could write a review deterring other travelers from visiting this spot. If there was less than one star, I would have generously given it. The motorbike scam was absolutely the most inconsiderate experience I have had in my multiple visits to Thailand. We were only hit a minor blow, financially, compared to... More

Immediately upon arrival we were welcomed with a friendly face and a coconut drink. We stayed at DD Hut for three nights and we loved every minute. Our room was very nice, with a comfortable bed, reliable internet, and a nice bathroom. We loved walking down to the rocks and watching the sunset every night. The location is great as... More

I agree with some of the bad reviews here- travelling around Asia this past year this ain't the best value for money. But in Koh Tao things have gotten expensive and (as we found) really busy especially after a full moon party (annoyingly!) We came to Koh Tao early to research and book our diving school in person. After finding... More

My boyfriend and I booked in for two nights here in December. We found the price already way to expensive for what was on the website but it was the only place available at late notice. We were given coconuts on arrival which was a nice touch. The room was basic but pleasant, we had a double bed, fan room.... More

One of the most expensive places we stayed in Thailand and probably the worst experience I had in all of SE Asia. The room smelled unpleasant and the building next to it was under renovations so throughout the day brick and wood pieces would fall onto our building. While we were in our room someone threw rocks at our little... More

Most expensive hotel we booked during out stay in Thailand and the worst one we stayed at. Booked a sea view bungalow and could only just see the sea! Big room but the entrance was big patio doors which meant when we were in the room we had to close the curtains if we didn't want other people looking in!... More

Spent the first night in the place next door (Viewpoint) for 1500 Baht, then moved to a fan room here for 800 Baht next to the bar in the photo above. It is still only 10 steps to the beach and some great snorkelling, there is a bar in front that closes before 12 so noise and customers were not... More

We booked a room for three at nearly £50 a night (the most we paid in Thailand - and the worst we stayed in). The room itself was nice BUT it stunk. The Bathroom stunk of sewage, all our clothes smelt of it after we left and the main room smelt of mothballs. We complained at reception and their answer... More
