Dreadfully expensive for what you get, with strange 'the shining' style long corridors in bad taste and open cupboards with fuse boxes every few metres. Not very clean, wifi didn't work in the room, staff friendly but haven't been trained properly and don't understand a lot of English. Hot water only worked on the second day. The pool is used... The room with the pool view was a little more expensive but really nice. Huge rooms and wet rooms but the hot water didn't work at once but they fixed it. We stayed just one night and it was good location because it was just 5 min walking to the ferry.

Picked up from pier. Bed dirty on arrival. Staff changed immediately. Huge rooms and wet rooms. Lovely. Was quiet when we were there. We were diving with crystal dive centre which is 300yards along the beach opposite the giant turtle in the sea. Noisy people next door. Who were into karaoke unfortunately. Take ear plugs lol. Would go back with... More

I stayed with my partner at this resort during our Open & Advanced PADI at Crystal Dive Resort during January 2015. We stayed here for approx 10 days and our conclusion is that it was poor but we can more used to it later and still enjoyed our stay. The thing is that this hotel holds a lot of potential... More

Hotel almost looks half done and is pretty shabby in places, which would be fine but not when they're charging quite a high price for koh tao - id certainly expect more for that price. Also not great location - right at the other end of beach and about a 20minute walk from where everything goes on. Staff didn't seem... More

Regal has a great location, it's in the middle of the pier and Sairee with a five minute walk both ways. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice pool area and the restaurant has OK food. Definatley worth a stay!

We had a superior room with garden view, which was absolutely fantastic. The room had a big comfy bed, a cute balcony with two chairs, a table and view of the garden and the ocean, a big bathroom with a nice big shower, a big closet, and a desk with a tv on and a built in mini fridge. Generally... More

Very clean and nice rooms. Good views on the pool side of the rooms. Not enough beds for around the pool! Food is also good. Very close to the pier we was ripped off by the taxi from the pier as you can just walk for 2mins. Beach front. Quite enough at night but close enough to nightlife bars etc

We stayed at the Regal for a few nights on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool which was nice. The pool was clean and we used it a lot although being there in November, the ocean was still refreshing so we swam there as well which is adjacent to the pool area. As a mature couple we liked the location... More
