I booked 2 days there. I spent 3 weeks. The restaurant is decent, the hotel well it dependswhich rooms/price u put. But the view. The beach. The encounters at the pool or at the cancun bar next to it.. Its just a great place to be when u travel single :)

We had a really nice room - big and comfy bed, nice bathroom, balcony and good air con! The breakfast was also nice! The beach however wasn't nice at all, and the hotels swimming pool was always being used by the diving school and only had 4 sun beds... So we just gave that a miss! Other much better beaches on... We stayed at wind beach resort for 4 nights with breakfast included, which wasn't too bad. The restaurant and pool however are permanently occupied with Roctopus diving students. The room was nice, we had a double room with A/C just to the left and above reception, however the wifi was pretty terrible. The sink plug and shower drain did smell... More

I stayed at wind beach resort in koh Tao for 4 days. And if it wasn't full everywhere on the island I would have moved after day 1. I got there last room when I was there, A room for three people, nr118. I think this was one of the cheapest rooms. I payed 800 bht. It was right next... More

I was in a four-person fan room for two nights, then moved with a friend to a two-person A/C room. The place is right on top of Roctopus. The four-person fan room stays hot at night, even with the fan on, but it's manageable and is probably the best value for money you can get for a resort on the... More

Writing this after the worst nights sleep I've ever had on this island. The room, in the newer end of the hotel overlooking the pool; was of an ok standard, the location is ok, with some great snorkeling on the beach. The problem (which only becomes clear at night) is that the extremely loud nightclub competes with the neighbouring club... More

It's nice resort but nothing fancy. The pool is almost always taken by the dive school and the beach is quite small. Bungalows are good and very clean but if you're staying close to the beach bar it's imposible to sleep as the music is pumping until 2 am. The restaurant is nothing special, there are better pleces just nearby.... More

We didn't stay at the hotel, we just ate at the restaurant every lunch time. The staff were happy to read my Thai gluten-free card (CeliacTravel.com) and then they showed it to their chef and reported back that he was happy to make me some food. Amazing! Brilliant staff attitude which is great when you feel like a nuisance already... More

Arrived in Koh Tao with no booking and followed a couple of friends i made along the way. Once I showed up at the reception, they allocated me a room but then as I was staying only one night, they changed it. I ended up in the old building, only with cold water in the shower and broken furniture. I... More

Good points 1. Good location 2. Rooms nice enough 3. Nice restaurant 4. Go to Su Chill for dinner nearby. 5. Sunset view Bad points: 1. So frustrating that the pool was always full of divers, hotel guests don't feel welcome in the pool. 2. A mere 6 sun loungers is appalling 3. Wifi is pretty bad 4. Cold shower 5.... More
