Room: I have no complaints with the room appearance wise. It was clean, well decorated and well lit with access to a balcony. Bed was nice and comfortable. The only problem i had with the room was that the bathroom had a weird unpleasant smell coming from the area near the sink. Sometimes it was there, sometimes it wasn't. But... More

I stayed here after having no reservations anywhere on the island. The reviews are pretty bang on and consistent. You get what you pay for. My room was clean to their standards. There was an ant colony in the shower. And a few baby cockroaches. I left the window closed because the mesh frame was broken so insects could get... More

We were the oldest swingers in town at this place, everyone was in their 20's and 30's, I am 52 and my wife is 4 years younger. They had a pool bar but no one seemed to use it, when I used it for an hour I found out why. This area of the pool does not get any sun... More

I really didnt like this hotel much, it looked far better in the photos we looked at before booking. It was right in the middle of a very busy town and it was very noisy. You would get druken idiots screaming shouting on there way back to their rooms at about 3 or 4am in the morning which is ok... More

Hotel rooms, lovely, clean and comfortable. However staff rather miserable. Restaurant rubbish, breakfast absolute waste of time!! Ridiculously noisey at night aswell. Pool tiny and only have about 2 sunbeds. We were charged for stealing a towel.... which we hadnt and after further inspection they realised we hadnt and then basically threw our money back at us! DO NOT USE... More

Although the location of Wind Beach is great, the service was pretty bad - we found members of staff very rude and sometimes even a bit intimidating. It was one of the most expensive places we stayed in throughout our entire stay in Thailand but this stay was the worst in every way. One staff member, the head of cleaning... More

We arrived hoping for a week of relaxation after extensive travel in Thailand. The reception was very un-Thai - chilly, disorganized, unwelcoming. We were shown our room - up a flight of steps each of which was about 14" deep - very weird - and down a long hallway. Our 'view' (this was supposed to be a superior room) was... More

Rooms are large and mostly clean. Some are open to the sky so it's difficult to keep the mozzies out. Pool is lovely and the restaurant is convenient and serves tasty food, and drink. A reasonable place for a reasonable price- about 1900 bht a night.

Stayed at wind beach for five nights, the room was fantastic and was worth the upgrade. Traveling with friends we spent most of the time by the pool and sun deck at victor's Bar. topless bathing in Thailand is often frowned upon although this resort's private sun deck provided the perfect designated topless bathing area, only thing is it closes...
