We had two nights, thankfully not more as the music from a nearby pool bar was blaring from the afternoon until midnight both nights, wouldn't mind but music awful...... Hotel alright but not a relaxing spot, very busy place. Disjointed breakfast spot over the walkway from reception, great view however. Good central location and easy walking to all other spots.

Stayed here a couple of times , the owner is a very nice Thai lady and she was really nice , rooms are nice and have cable TV . Pool is really nice and breakfasts are basic ! The dive shop is right there which isn't that great cos when you lying at the pool all the divers are in... More

The situation of this place was good, being a little back from the beach still with easy access to everything like shops, restaurants, beach. The room I stayed in was in the apartment block, not bungalow, and it was dark and musty, and right next to a pond. Needless to say mosquitoes ran rife all night. Rooms were generous in... More

Great island, beautiful beach. But very wrong hotel. Because its just too expensive. The place's good days are over. No pool towels, rude personel, endless moustiques in the room, Stinky and hot pool water, one day breakfast was good, other day it wasnt. For that price there should be real alternatives. If you are ok with very low standards then... More

My friends and I heard great things about the dive shop and that's what brought us to Koh Tao in the first place. We didn't research places to stay because the dive shop offers accommodation as well. My only advice is dive with Seashell, but don't stay there! What we experienced: Overpriced rooms - 550 baht for bungalow not even... More

Rooms are ok, service kind of sloppy. The area is the most crowded, so it is great if you look for some cheap nightlife around you. On the other hand, if you want a peaceful location it's not the best choice.

I chose the Seashell as I was traveling solo and wanted somewhere central in Sairee. The location is great! My room - Garden Deluxe - was clean, but with the humidity and the gardens etc. I had a lot of mosquitoes in my room. I know a mosquito free vacation may not be possible at this time of year -... We stayed here because it was medium priced, had a great beachfront location, and had a (strangely salty) and warm pool. The beach didn't disappoint, and Sairee town is good for bars, beach, restaurants etc but we have had much better value for money everywhere else we have stayed in the whole of Thailand. Our bungalow was a good size... More

We stayed in Seashell Resort for three nights and we booked it the same day from Koh Tao port. The Hotel is close to the port and is located in a really nice spot in Siree Beach. The room was fine, with good free wifi signal but we didn't have hot water at the bathroom (it was no big problem... More

Stayed in a "Beach side pool access" room - nr. 304. The pool is literally right outside the room - 2 m away:-) Amazing for the children. Almost like a private pool - only 10 rooms share this pool. There is also a bigger pool. And the beach at the end of the pool - great view. Rooms are great... More
