Location was good and the pool was pretty sweet but other than that nothing special in my opinion. The room was fairly clean. The staff could have a better attitude, and seemed to be hesitant to assist at times. It was ok.

We booked this place literally the evening before we got there, and when we rocked up on the back of the truck and headed off the road into the back of the grounds and gardens, someone quipped 'bet that's our room - the one at the end, by the dustbins.' Sure enough, it was. And it didn't matter a jot.... More

Our room smelled so badly of mold I could hardly sleep the first night. I suspect it was the bedding since the room vas clean and tidy enough but the humidity was high and since we visited off season it seemed like the room had been uninhibited for a while. Next day when housekeeping changed the sheets it got better.... More

Big resort hotel right on the beach road, with big reception, swimming pool and garden with lots of greenery and trees. Our superior garden view was 30sqm room with strong AC, weaker WiFi and 5min walk to the restaurant (restaurant is on the beach with stunning sunset views). Highlight of this hotel must be the 2 swimming pools, one deep... More

I don't have much to say about Seashell. The rooms were decent, the pools alright, and it's near the beach. Grounds are nice and the restaurant food was okay. It's just that if I returned to Koh Tao, I'd look for a nicer place to stay.

I booked two poolside rooms on their resort website in april this year, for our trip in july. I needed to contact the resort about something and got no replies from any of my e-mails. When we arrived i found that the two poolside villas were indeed next to the pool, but you had to share your smal varander with... More

Stayed for 2 nights with friends in January. This hotel is lot more luxurious than the beach huts. It is very modern, beds are big and comfortable, rooms are spacious. Food was nice in the hotel but there was also plenty of restaurants a short walk away. The seashell diving school is attached to the hotel which was convenient. Would... More

We stayed at Seashell resort as we were tired and it was the first decent hotel we found while walking. We had to pay (a lot!) of extra for air con room and too be fair it wasn't worth the money. The room has pretty much no lights (just one light bulb above the 2 beds) so it makes it... More

This is the first time I write I review but after the terrible days I spent in this resort I felt I had to... The staff is terrible, they just wander around eatung, drinking, playing with their mobiles and sleeping in the premises all day. If you ask for anything it feels like you are bothering them. No customer service... More

Really bad hotel, If I went into detail I'd probably run out of space, but below is a brief synopsis of the disaster area that is Seashells Resort. Totally apathetic staff, guests just seem to be an inconvenience. Absolutely no customer service. The hotel tries to illegally keep your passport. (For those of you who don't know, Thai law requires... More
