We were so looking forward to staying here from our research. Perfect position . Nobody told us you are dependent on tuk tuks to get to your room as they are sprayed over a mountainside and a long steep climb. They stop at 11pm, so be home by then!! Our room looks onto the mould back of the room in... More

The actual rooms, views and beach are amazing. Arayaburi and Bay View resorts are run under the same management, however Arayaburi is an extra 5-10 minute walk from reception to room (hilly). Ferrys run from the beach, however we found it easier to walk into the town center (15 minutes). Staff do not speak very good English, and become unorganised... More

Where do I begin? On arrival, the hotel had no confirmation of myself and my family booking a reservation. I showed him a copy of our booking forms and he just grunted at me in thai and proceeded to serve the person behind me, I'd never met a receptionist as rude in my life, especially in Thailand. His assistant waved... More

When we arrived at first I was impressed with the location and beach front lobby. However it went down hill from there. I rarely read long reviews so I will summarise the points. GOOD: location on the beach , food from the restraint was very enjoyable. BAD: The rudest staff I have ever come across, 1 open can of sprite... More

Beautiful view and AMAZING POOL! Its quite a walk into town though but on the bright side this was my first vacation where instead of doubling up in mass I actually lost a few kg's(I blame it on all the walking we did) The wifi isn't great but at least they have wifi. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast... More

Beautiful resort away from the hustle of the island's center. Walking to the room takes a bit of climbing, not for people out of shape... Otherwise, the room (the superior) was beautiful and spaceous. Two problems- a bit of a damp smell in it, and a very unstable wifi connection. The staff was helpful, breakfast a rich buffet. All in... More

Well it's going to be amazing because it's on Phi Phi. Bit of a walk from the ferry but you won't care because they will take your bags for you and it's lovely walk through Phi Phi and then along the beach. Rooms are decent - nothing special. It's on a big hill so if you don't like walking up... More

After a 2 hour boat ride from Phuket the 1st thing I wanted to do was just get in my room. Instead we had to walk from the Pier to hotel reception (15 mins) then check in. The staff were no where near as friendly as our previous hotel (burasari) in Phuket. It was like check in was a chore... More

Hotel has very good location and a different experience it was. But staff was damn rude , they were treating us as we were staying for free. Hotel is on hill and i was refused by one of the staff member for shuttle service to my room when i was not well

When you arrive a Phi Phi pier there is a representative from the resort to meet you and you are transported by boat over to the resort. The greeting is not typically Thai at check in, by European standards it is fine but compared to other hotels I have stayed with in Thailand I would say the welcome is less... More
