Location for this hotel was perfect! Right near to the pier and close to the action but not right on top of it all. The pool area was lovely (clean and attentive staff) and it was very nice having a view of the sea whilst at the pool. The rooms were nice (I don't know what ppl are moaning about).... More

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in July 2014. The rooms are pretty clean but really need renovations. The worst part was the smell (I think coming from the drains?) when you were taking a shower, and the bed was so uncomfortable. We didn't have any issues with the staff however they weren't particularly friendly. The pool... More

we stayed at the hotel in July 2014 for 3 nights. the view is amazing for the rooms, the staff was nice but the rooms were poor in our opinion- 21 inch TV (an old one), the bathroom looks old but the rooms are clean. we did expected more. the breakfast is OK, there was nothing special there- eggs, some... First of all the good points; the view and the pool are really nice. Now unfortunately the bad points; the bathroom smelt awful coming from the drains, the shower doors are rusted and are hard to open/close and basically the rooms need completely renovating as it felt old and dirty. For the price you pay there are better options on... More

We were on an over night trip to Phi Phi when we opened up our room door and could see our view we were in heaven. We loved the pool, pool side cocktails yum yum. You can hear the party music at night but it did not stop us from sleeping. Wish we could have stayed an extra night, to... More

It was our first time in Thailand, we are family of five (40, 38, 16, 12, 6). The hotel view is beautiful, the location is great and the swimming pool is big and gorgeous. The rooms are big and comfortable with a nice view also. However – infrastructure is a bit poor, we had low water pressure and they could... More

My sister and I actually chose this place, because in the photo after the boxing day tsunami in 2006, it was the only hotel still standing. It is safe and sturdy and located at the nice cleaner end of the beach. Lovely Thai styled rooms, nice social breakfast, with view over both bays! So you can choose which beach you... More

If you're staying here for beautiful views, a gorgeous pool and great location, and using your room only for sleeping/changing so you can get out and see the rest of the island(s), this is for you. If you want a great hotel room and 5 star service and spend time in your room, move on.... For our needs, this was... More

Traveled with kids (2 families) on 23 June 2014. Excellent location, got super sea view rooms, rooms were nice, as everyone else mentioned in reviews - bathrooms major renovation. Breakfast just average. The staff is friendly except front desk. The lady - Ms. Juny at the front desk needs to be removed from her job as she is very unfriendly... More

Good location, couple of minutes walk from Tonsai Pier and within walking distance of lots of bars/restaurants. However, the hotel itself was definitely not four star. The pool was large and was nice but that's the only positive. The rooms weren't good - outdated décor and the smell from the shower drain was vile. We reported this to reception (in... More
