We stayed in the lower down rooms that over looked the water (room 8B) and it was fantastic. Brilliant views and far easier than taking your bag way up the back of the resort. We stayed for 3 days and for the first night we were up the back and it was quite a hike to get to the room.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in Oct'13. The resort is beautiful and totally worth the money. The resort is located at the end of the beach and is a 20 min walk from the bay and is much quieter and private. This is good for those looking to stay away from the crowd. But, if you are looking for... More

For the price we payed, the hotel was ideal. You only need a day or 2 on the island though-it lacks in culture and is over run. Go to Koh Samui if you want clean beaches, culture, and hospitality and go to Phi Phi just because. There are 2 sides to Phi Phi as far as the major tourist areas... More

This was the one place on our honeymoon that we didn't reserve ahead of time. We walked directly from the pier and bought our room through reception. Receptionists are a little rude and the welcome drink isn't really fruit juice. We haggled over price a bit and settled on 1,900 baht for a private bungalow. Always ask to see the... More

Bayview Resort isn't a nice place to stay at all. The frontdesk staff is very rude and laugh at guest if they have issues. We walked in at the resort when someone had a question, the way he was treated should have put us off as well. We only stayed for one night due to our booking. The beach in... More

I was actually a bit horrified by reading some of the previous reviews and wondered if I had made a terrible mistake by making a reservation here. However, the place was not bad compared to the overall run down atmosphere of Tonsai Bay. It seems that most places on Tonsai have much lower reviews for a reason (after walking by... More

We were in Koh Phi Phi a few years ago, desperately searching for a place to stay at New Years - high season. We looked at tons of place on Koh Phi Phi, and finally, we walked down the seafront, facing the port, on and on we walked, well past where the main boardwalk ended. Where were we going? Well,... The staff is incredibly rude. The staff will argue with you about everything. The first night, we had a lot of ants almost immediately after a small room service dinner was delivered. They blamed it on us for having food in the room. After explaining that you don't just "clean up" ants and they all go away, they finally moved... More

I have never experienced such rude and unhelpful staff in all my years . The receptionists made us feel so unwelcome from start to finish. There was never as much as a 'please' or 'thank you'. They demanded extra money from start to finish and the food was awful. We left this resort after two nights and booked into another... More

This hotel is beautiful and the staff are helpful. The view is absolutely breath taking! A few tips for your stay though! Rooms: Ask for the new wing. We had a new room and it had great air conditioning and a very clean room! Location: It is a huge walk into town, through the local parts of the island- It's... More
