Negatives The room is small, there were ants in our bed, there was a cockroach in our shower, there is alot of noise that continues well into the night, the water that came out of the shower was yellow, the staff were rude and imitated my accent when they thought i wasn't listening. Positives Location

We stayed at Orange Tree in Feb 2012. Rooms are basic but include everything you need. Sometimes a little noisy but you'll find that with most places on Phi Phi unless you are way up the hill. What I really liked about this place is that it's small enough to be a Mummy + Daddy operation. Run by a married... More

We stayed couple nights. The Orange Tree room is small but comfortable and very clean. The couple are very friendly and helpful. At night a bit noise but not a problem. We will come back here again.

We stayed here two nights and were quite amused when we saw the room for the first time; it was even smaller than it looks like in the pictures and because of the tiny windows and grey walls it looked a bit like a prison cell. BUT there were many good sides as well; air-con was working nicely and the... More

We stayed in Orange Tree over New Years Eve and because we wanted to book ahead on the internet, we found a lot of the hotels had these expensive Gala dinners that you had to pay around 6,000baht per person for on top of the hotel price, so we chose a guest house with no Gala dinner and it wasn't... Ok first thing - this place is right in the middle of the action. Great for getting around and seeing things but not if you want to sleep before 1am. I didn't care about that as the music isn't that loud, but you can definitely hear it from the rooms. If you want peace and quiet 24/7 then head away... More

Our trip involved plenty of travel and this was the worst hotel by some distance. Loud, dirty, there were 2x large lizards in our room and cockroaches and when we tried to check out ~ 30 min after checking in the owners were gone for the night. This was about 8pm and we had to find another hotel for the... More

I stayed one night. This hotel is very small, the boss is a married couple, no one at the reception (probably to take care of their children to the bar), is not very convenient. I think the more appropriate called guest house. Location is good, not far from restaurants, banks and 7-11, also provides free wifi. Have to say is... More

Orange Tree PP is quite value for money. Compared with other overcharged places in PP, its price is much acceptable and reasonable. Rooms are pretty clean with everything you need: LCD TV, safety locker, air con and free wi-fi. The owners (young Thai couple) are nice. They are always treating you warm with lovely Thai smile. Though the room size... More
