we booked this hotel for 3 days. we stayed at bungalow which is overprice for what you get! also the stuff are very rude and not helpful.the breakfast was very poor, there is no wifi in the room, you need to go to the lobby to connect (also not a good connection) our recommendation is: don't waste your time and money on... I really think the people who write positive reviews about this place either never stayed in a nice place before or "get paid" to write such things. The only nice thing about this place was that the rooms have recently been renovated to a good standard. However the service is appalling; the staff have no idea and they ignore every... More

We arrived on the Island after the trip from hell on the ferry watching the crew drink moonshine with some loud obnoxious Malaysian girl. Awesome felt like the titanic. No one to meet us at the pier. Iwas a bit cranky and upon asking directions finally 30minutes later found it. All I can say is gt offthe pier turn left... More

After a long day travelling to Phi Phi we found it very stressful getting to the hotel as no one met us at the pier and the directions we were given were not much help either. However, once we arrived we were pleasantly surprised as the hotel staff were so lovely. Our room was situated in the old section of... More

Pros: Our room was very modern and clean. Swimming pool was very nice and location was excellent, nice and quiet but a short walk from everything too. Good value for money. We stayed in the newer part which sounds like it's better. Cons: Our room wasn't cleaned for the 5 nights we were there (didn't bother us too much). Wifi... More

I don't recommend eating at Gypsy Seaview. They provide a free breakfast but I don't think I saw a single person finish their meal. There's so many other great restaurants on Phi Phi it's a waste of a meal. The hotel itself is alright. It's slightly removed from the main traffic areas which some may find peaceful. The pool is... We reserved the place via booking.com, which worked fine. Upon arrival, we had to pay the bill upfront, which is unorthodox. Overall, there are a few glaring errors with this place. First, the door locks are flimsy - they are literally the pushbutton locks that you would put on your bathroom door in your house. It's amazing that there is... More

I reserved this hotel via agoda.com and had to pay in advance. We booked 1 bungalow and 1 room. The prices were slightly different and when we got there, we were in a shock. The room was a complete hole and so we rather got 2 bungalows instead of one. So then the receptionist said she received the same amount... More

On arrival at the pier at phi phi, everyone else had their baggage carried to their hotel, provided and paid for by their resort. However not gypsy resort, we had to wheel our suitcase under the solid sun for at least 20minutes and had no clue where the Hotel was. Why it is called 'sea view resort' I do not... More
