Bit of a trek from the boar to get to with heavy bags with totally worth it, felt like heaven after weeks of smelly orrid hostels. We paid 800 baht for one of the bungalows facing the pool. Room was lovely, aircon and vr worked perfectly and the pool was phenomenal. Would stay here again, in the main hotel as... More

Make sure you stay in the new building. It's amazing for what you spend. You're 10 mins from strip but is worth it to get away from noise. Rooms are clean and pool area is really nice. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Be warned that Wifi on the whole of Phi Phi is questionable.

To my knowledge, the gypsie village is the only affordable hotel in Koh Phi Phi that is both central and quiet. Rooms are basic, water is lukewarm to cold, but it does the job and the place is safe. Highly recommanded if it is the type of place you're looking for.

The room was clearly not used before, the fridge was still unplugged and with the plastic protections on, there were also plastic protections still in the toilet, for example. The bed was very comfortable, the ac worked perfectly. However, there were no hangers available yet at our arrival, and the wifi did not work in the room. But, you have... More

Really cheap price for the island and has everything you need - a swimming pool, air-conditioning, TV and a shower that goes cold and hot! Perfect location, nice and clean rooms, with no extra frills. - only bad thing is their 'pet' eagle that is chained up by the leg near the reception, not nice to see a bird kept... More

We got to phi phi island with a confirmation at a different establishment that is owned by the same people. But the original establishment was full. We are grateful for that, since the original spot was ran by a rude individual who had no people skills. We got to Gypsy Village and was greated with open arms. The manager was... More

We spent over a week there with 7 friends total. You get cousy accomodation for regular price (we paid 1500 Bahts/night in peak season). Acompanied Gypsy restaurant is not that good, but they make good coffee, food was....well, different. Bungalows are clean and nice inside, fully what we needed. Only one BIG minus is, that behind bungalows is some stinky... More

The bungalows are basic, with a mattress and a mosquito net, and a simple bathroom. Its located next to the pedestrian road, a 5 min walk from the "center" of Phi Phi. I wasnt impressed by the cleanliness, and there were some bugs in the bathroom at night. You definitely get the feeling of living in a bungalow! But for... More
