The reception is beautiful. I was slightly disappointed because I payed 40$ a night expecting an above average place considering the prices around. It was quite a walk from the center of town. There was a cockroach in the bathroom, the toilet seat was loose, the shower hose was leaking so the bathroom was always soaked and the wifi did not... More

It was a relief finding a newer resprt development on this island. The resort in front of Gyspy was awful, so the switch was worth it. Pros: - modern design, clean rooms and facilities. - decent breakfast included - friendly, helpful staff - balcony/pool views Cons: - We had to change our rooms twice in two weeks due to things... An interesting stay. The hotel is actually called Gypsy Sea View, which is odd given that the sea is nowhere to be seen from anywhere in the resort. We had booked a stay in one of the bungalows opposite the newer hotel block as it was slightly cheaper. The bungalows have something of a rustic sort of charm until you... More

We stayed here for one night upon our arrival to phi phi. We chose Gypsy Village for it's location as we wanted to enjoy the nightlife of tonsai beach has to offer and e witching walking distance of restaurants and bars, while also being far enough away from the chaos and noise of the night! The bungalow itself was clean,... More

Second hotel we stayed in on phi phi after staying at arboreal, which was terrible. This hotel however was perfect. New part of the hotel is only 11 months old so the rooms are extremely clean and modern. Air con is the best we've had after our 19 day travels around Thailand. Reception staff are extremely friendly and speak adequate... More

Quiet, and a bit of a walk to get to it. Rooms were average the new hotel part is more money, nicer but rock hard beds. laundry takes a full day or more and you can find else where in town for 10baht cheaper per kg, had low expectations for breakfast and it was just above my expectation. AC worked... More

Stayed with a group of girls. Hotel looks as in pictures online, new and feels new also. Beds were ok pillows not very good quality. Bathroom was nice although water was cold in shower throughout 2 night stay. Large mirror in bathroom and bedroom. All rooms look out on the pool which is nice. Pool is lovely and alway quiet.... HI everyone, So where do I start. Myself and my partner stayed here for one night 20-21 April 2015 for our overnight on PhiPhi Islands. Before I start on the hotel, after departing off the Peir there was an information booth who told us how to get to the the hotel. Its actually very easy. From the Peir its a... More

The perfect little spot if you want to walk up to 'view point' - it is quite a walk though! Breakfast was unique, pool pretty and relaxing and staff helpful. You will need to walk to the hotel from the ferry stop ( literally like following the yellow brick road!) The highlights of phi phi are then on your door... More
