I reserved this hotel via agoda.com and had to pay in advance. We booked 1 bungalow and 1 room. The prices were slightly different and when we got there, we were in a shock. The room was a complete hole and so we rather got 2 bungalows instead of one. So then the receptionist said she received the same amount... More

On arrival at the pier at phi phi, everyone else had their baggage carried to their hotel, provided and paid for by their resort. However not gypsy resort, we had to wheel our suitcase under the solid sun for at least 20minutes and had no clue where the Hotel was. Why it is called 'sea view resort' I do not... More

We arrived at Gypsey Sea view on Dec 31 st for New years, if you bring your own helicopter you will get a sea view! The rooms are very clean as its a new building . Room cleaning happened once in 3 days ! For virtually all foreign visitors the TV has no English channels, so may as well have... More

Been to many hotels before and experienced many breakfast and this was defiantly the worst by far!!! Not even worth going to- shocking! Everything is cold including the tea and coffee, toast and eggs, not worth the money at all. The milk is discusting- UHT. Staff at breakfast are completely useless and struggle to understand English, don't seem to even... More

We are currently staying in the new hotel part of Gypsy Village and after struggling to find decent accommodation on Phi Phi when looking at reviews I'm really happy with our choice. We booked via Booking.com and on arrival the hotel sent someone to meet us from the ferry and he took us to the hotel and brought our luggage.... More

It has to be said that on Phi Phi you get less for your money. So this place is OK for the lower price bracket, in that you still get a private room and shower, plus AC and a TV. Beyond that, it's fairly well located, right along the pier and up the hill away from the party. Still, the... More

We stayed here a couple nights during our Thailand round trip. I am not much of a backpacker, village huts kinda guy. I like my level of comfort and I am annoyed by bugs and lizards. So I was not a proponent of booking Gypsy Village. However, when you come to the reception it quickly becomes clear that cleanliness is... More

Gypsy Sea View: Don't be fooled by the name, there is no sea view from this hotel. Nevertheless the hotel is ten minutes walk fromTonsai harbour, the beautiful beaches and all the night life of Phi Phi. We stayed in the new building in a deluxe twin room which was bright, clean and pristine. The bathroom was new and spotless and our ground... More

We stayed at Gypsy village for 2 nights. The location is about 10 minutes from the town core, but close to Long Beach. When we booked online the pictures showed nice and modern on booking.com, so we didn't mind spending a bit more for some luxury ($50 per night). On arrival, they took us to a bungalow that was small,... More

At the moment we were there we had the choice for a hotel or the cozy little Thai houses. The houses are small but nice and clean. Almost a shame that they have build a hotel because the little houses have so much more atmosphere. Luckily they still have a field with the cute little houses. They were cheaper than... More
