PP Palm tree was surprisingly a very good stay. The bad reviews don't reflect at all during my stay. Sure the staff are rude but once you get to know Thai people in touristy places they're all pretty straight forward and don't give a damn, but saying that they'll help you when you ask, just don't expect a smile and... I am surprised with any negative reviews on here, as our four day stay was perfect! The staff were all very friendly from beginning to end. The rooms are very clean, the pool is in perfect condition, the alcohol sold from the swim-up bar is reasonably priced, the complimentary breakfast was delicious! It is also right in the middle of... What we got for our money at this hostel was not justified. We have spent a few weeks backpacking around Thailand and Malaysia and decided to splurge for a few nights. We both agreed we should not have wasted our money as this was the worst experience so far, even when compared to hostels that we paid less than $30/night... More

decent accommodation on Phi Phi that is of a reasonable price is very hard to come by. This is a great option in comparison to some of the options on phi phi. It is near everything and our balcony opened up right on to the pool which was great. The rooms were modern and the pool was nice. Breakfast was... More

I agonized over our hotel in Ko Phi Phi for months reading reviews and trying to find the best place to stay. I honestly think I booked three places and cancelled (thank you agoda) before landing on this and I was THRILLED with my decision. We upgraded (for maybe $10 per night) to a room that connects directly to the... More

If you let the hotel know which ferry you're arriving on, they'll have someone meet you at the pier to cart your luggage back to the hotel which is only a 5-10min walk away - there's no motorised transport on the island. The hotel itself is in a great location - close to the action but without being so close... More

From what I gathered during our week long stay in Phi Phi there aren't many hotels that are much better standard than this as the island caters mainly for the backpackers. We loved our stay in this hotel, definitely recommend a pool access room as these are guaranteed to be the opposite ends from the pubs and clubs adjacent to... More

Firstly, before you go to Phi Phi be warned it is very commercialised and the standard of hotels is not as good as in other parts of Thailand. Having said that if you're only staying in PP for a short while and want a great location, excellent staff and a hotel without the frills then stay here. The staff are... More

Just came back from Thailand today and stayed at this hotel during our trip to Phi Phi Island (1 night only). Check in was fine, they accommodate early check in as we arrive at 12.30pm and was told that I requested for a twin room which i did not (we were travelling with our 2 year old). Upon glaring at... My husband and I only stayed here for one night but we thought it was definitely the best option for us on Phi Phi. There was someone waiting for us with a sign at the ferry (we didn't set that up with them, I believe they have someone there at the arrival of every ferry) who took our bags to... More
