Ok first and foremost your on a camping trip at Maya Bay. Key word is camping trip. Do not expect air conditioning, showers or a tempur pedic mattress. This a down right fun filled drinking party. Plenty of people to meet and plenty of fun to have for all. We left phi phi don and headed to a nearby island... More

First of all it was very positive to see that the organizers were easy with sudden changes of plans. We had booked this trip weeks before but had to scrap the original date due to sickness, but they were fine with us going 2 days later with a simple telephone call. We (=2 girls) actually went with a rather small... More

Not for the faint of heart, these are rugged accommodations but probably the highlight of 3 weeks in SE Asia. On the way to Maya Bay, the little snorkeling stop is beautiful. Your first look of the bay is breathtaking and to get to head to the beach and watch the sunset is just unreal. The dinner prepared on the... More

Very pleased with the friendly staff and how they presented the trip! Had a lovely meal and bbq on the beach, had plenty of drinks and everyone was just nice and chilled. Great atmosphere. A trip to never forget! 100% recommend :)

After reading all the great reviews and looking at their website, with the kind of money that people are spending I assumed the whole company and the office would have it all together. Unfortunately we tried to visit their office many times and it was closed at random points during the day with no sign to say when it would... More

Maya Bay is a beautiful place, and I - a thirteen year old, who often doesn't appreciate these sorts of things, was agape at the landscape. The Sleepaboard boat is the only way to see it. If you want to go on a long-tail tour, it will take you at high tourist times, if its bad weather force you to... More

I don't write many reviews. In fact, this may be my first. I went to Thailand with my girlfriend earlier this year and thought we would do something slightly different to the island speedboat tour. The itinerary was very well thought out. We snorkelled with tropical fish at the Pirate Cave, which in itself was breathtaking. Moved on to Maya... More

Most amazing trip ever! Met the most friendly staff who made our trip great. Don't understand the review that says the staff were bad at all! Did snorkelling see. Hundreds of fish all around us. Headed to "the beach" and waited for all the crowds disappear - best feeling ever! CYA! And then relaxed all night with the tastiest food... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Each year hundreds of thousands of day-tripping tourists converge on Maya Bay – the small tropical island where the movie The Beach (starring Leonardo DiCaprio) was filmed. Tourists arrive by sailboats, speedboats and longtails – all hell bent on capturing that perfect photo of paradise. It can be a disappointing experience for many, however, there’s now another option – the Maya Bay Sleep Aboard tour.Join other like-minded travellers for an unforgettable overnight experience you will recall with a smile for the rest of your life. The journey begins at Phi Phi Don, where the Maya Bay Sleep Aboard office is located. Store your luggage for free at the office and prepare your overnight bag. Bring your swimwear, towel, mosquito spray, camera and of course your sense of adventure. On the way to Maya Bay, the boat will make a stop outside the Viking Caves, followed soon after by a snorkeling, swimming and kayaking session. .We serve a breakfast back on the boat which consists of coffee, tea, eggs and toast. After breakfast there’s an opportunity to take a quick swim and then it’s time to head back to Phi Phi Don. We arrive back by 10am and while most people are tired the majority just can’t stop smiling and raving about their night.Remember you are in the land of smiles… bring along your Mai Pen Rai (no problem in Thai) attitude and you are sure to have an amazing time.
