This guesthouse was a really good find it's out of the noise and hustle and bustle of haad rin but close enough to go in for the night. The owner mike is so helpful and the coffee shop he runs down stairs does the best sandwiches in Thailand and the milkshakes are pretty good too! All in all a really... More

I had a feeling when we booked the glass cottage that it was going to be a very special place, and it was. Michael, the host, met us upon arriving via boat in Koh Phangan and was so welcoming. We arrived at the cottage and it is just gorgeous. It's small and cosy and has everything you need, like bath... More

We spent a month in Koh Phangan just outside town and visited A's coffee on a regular basis as they did great coffee.... On our last night we wanted to stay in town as we were catching the early morning ferry so asked about staying at the guest house above the coffee shop. We thought because it was low season... More

Found The Glass Cottage by chance, and what a find! It's absolutely beautiful, the views are stunning and the owner, Mike very friendly and helpful. Every little thing has been carefully considered, the cleaning ladies even left homemade cookies everyday! There is a little bar right next door run by Piu and is lovely in the evening, all lit up... Just 5 minutes walk from the main pier, we walked into Buakao Inn without reservation as it was during the green season/ low season last year. We get to know about this place through Lonely Planet and read some good reviews about it, after inspecting the room, we agreed to stay on. Mike, the owner was accommodating and made every... More

Buakao Inn is a great little spot in the heart of Thongsala not far from where the ferry lets you off. It's billed as comfort on the cheap--and trust me, it delivers. The bed in Room 5 was extremely comfortable, there's an excellent diner/cafe with tasty and relatively inexpensive breakfast just downstairs, and the staff are all extremely pleasant, particularly... We turned up here at 6pm for a coffee after being so disappointed with another resort we had to leave. Luckily they had 1 room left for the nights we wanted. It was so nice to realise the great coffee shop had a connected guesthouse upstairs and the staff were really helpful in getting us set-up. The location is excellent... More

We stayed in the Glass bungalow while we were visiting the island for the Full Moon Party. We would recommend that anyone wanting to stay in luxury stays at A's Beach Place. The Glass bungalow is amazing. The bed is huge and so comfy and there are two couches and a writing desk too. The view is simply breathtaking and... More

I had a TERRIBLE experience at this inn. I booked a room at Buakao Inn on Sawadee.com a couple weeks in advance and paid the entire room fee 450 BHT per night. Because I was unsure of my travel plans, I inquired whether it was possible to add an extra person or change the dates for my stay. Since I... More

Thanks for the review. Obviously this guest did not stay with us. The "friend" who did make a booking also did not stay. A customer booked a room during our busiest time of year for one person. The booking inquiry was done with our online agency who clearly requires full prepayment. The customer then asked not to make any payment... More

I live on Koh Phangan and was pleasantly surprised by a visit from a friend from Australia who, after having visited A's Beach Place, decided to book the Glass Cottage for 3 nights' stay. I have stayed in many fine hotels around the world, and upon walking into the cottage, I was immediately taken with its elegant luxury and stunning... More
