My boyfriend and I booked central cottage online after months of travelling and staying in budget accommodation (central cottage was a little more expensive than what we had been paying in other areas but we were hoping it would be worth it). Unfortunately not. The air-con hut was falling apart with gaps in the wall and door so that bugs... More

under new management!!! i have stayed here for many years, despite some issues, but with new management i am happier than ever to stay here...the staff are fun and relaxed but attentive, management is delightful, rooms are cleaned well and regularly, still the best spot on the beach, and the best beach tv....happy

Stay here over new year and was expensive, room hasn't been cleaned or fresh new towels. Beach is ok but lots of rubbish washes up on the it. Taxi very expensive, not very many things to do and there is no road here as its currently a dirt track. Food is ok but breakfast isn't the best, eggs are lovely.... More

I booked this hotel through booking.com the description was misleading. It was 40 minutes drive from the ferry and into which seemed the middle of no where. Whilst it does look over the ocean. The rooms were disgusting. Holes in the wall. A stench of mothballs which we realized they had put in all the drains. The toilet looked like... More

Stayed in this resort for two nights in room 23, beachfront cottage with aircon, warm water shower but when they showed us the room it just didn't seem like the pictures on the website. The website pictures seem better than in real life. We arrived from Samui pier into Thong Sala pier to be greeted with very rude taxi drivers... More

The location couldn't be better however the bungalows with fan miss any comfort. Be prepared for a fight with giant bugs. Furthermore, I'm afraid in case the staff become more sober they may commit suicide. However, the restaurant is quite good and most probably has the best prices on the beach. Instead I would recommend Pen's Bungalow.

Our arrival by boat was something else to say the least. Ferrying the suitcases to the sand was novel but no problem. Finally located our accomodation and first impressions were certainly lasting ones. Did not expect much for the price and did not get much but we were comfortable. Had to rouse the management to service the room daily which... More

I booked this spot through an online site and the price was great for what you get, a pool, a great beach and friendly service. The only real complaint I have is that the food isn't all that great, the pad thai was ok but I would recommend eating else where. But I would definitely stay here again.

i've been here 4 times in the oast ten years. The simple but classic bamboo bungalows are cheap and comfortable, allthough simple. No aircon, cold water, etc. Slowly but surely new accomodation has been build, in all kind of comfort levels. I guess, most of it is quite good. Its clean and ok priced. The food is ok. Their biggest... More

After staying on Haad Chao Phao for a few days we headed up to Thong Nai Pan, so glad we did. The beach is beautiful, lots of bars and restaurants without being too much. Central Cottage was better after our 6 nights Seaflower Bungalows, but yes more expensive (Had AC, Concrete rather than Wooden) Breakfast a bit rank (flies everwhere)... More
