so spent two full days and two nights here and found the beach and swimming to be stunning, great snorkelling and amazing scenery. Total opposite of the service of the staff at check in and restaurant. All staff extremely poor with customer service to the point of ignoring us- the manager in the dining room had a habit of coming... More

Stayed at the beach villa with a great view of the sea. The room have a king bed and another single bed. There is DVD player, hot water flask and standing shower. There is balcony with two chairs. However, saw rat near the tv area and later heard rat crawling across the roof quite late at night. Package include all... More

I’ve stayed at Nanyuan twice previously back when it was primarily a dive-resort/backpacker-flashpacker destination. Day trippers were important but not dominant. They now seem the island’s main focus – thousands come daily, some all day, others in waves of 2 to 3 hours. With 100baht entry fee, 150b for sun-lounges (many of which are turned over 3 or 4 times)... More

Stayed here just for 1 Night because I loved the idea of being on a secluded island! And it was so magic at 5pm when all the day visitors left and I just had the beach to myself...truly amazing! Had the cheapest room and they upgraded me to a bungalow with wonderful seaview. Soo the island itself is super cool,... More

We stayed 3 nights in this resort and I am totally happy with every baht I spent. The island is very pretty and the beach is amazingly beautiful. However, the down side is when the visitors from other islands start to come (from 9am - 5pm). The room comes with a good size and clean. We stayed in K8 bungalow... More

Hotel service was ok,but room really poor quality and no hot water, dirty. Better not stay in this hotel anymore. The Nangyuan island was getting worse compare 4 years ago my first trip to this island. Food in the restaurant was too expensive compare with other place in Thai.

My second visit to the Island, amazing diving, beautiful beach, great scenery but dear god avoid the hotel on the island. I recommend maybe staying in Koh Tao and visiting the island on a day trip. Your room will be a wooden shake halfway up the hillside, you will share your room with ants, mosquitos and lizards. No tv, no... More

Room is nice, as expected. Quite old bedroom and bathroom. But good enough to get by for 2 days (I didn't expect it to be very new and crispy clean because it is on an island. insects and sands is possible). View is great. Sea is great. Even I went there in monsoon season, there are moments that there is... More

We visited this island as the last stop on the Koh Tao all day snorkel tour. All the companies bring their boats here for the last two hours of the day. You have to pay 100 baht to land and are not allowed to bring any plastic bottles (i.e. no water) with you. The resort area is unshaded sandy beach... More
