Stayed here for the full moon party in June as we were travelling and most hotels were a minimum 4-5 night stay, luckily we found this one which was only 3 nights so we booked it, at £50 a night per room we were very disappointed, the rooms were full of bugs as we walked in, the air con blew... Not a pleasant hotel, rooms are clean but that's about it.. Air con works brilliant If you book this hotel don't expect an awful lot apart from a small restaurant (with not very nice food), the beach isn't very nice with rubbish all over it.. The sea isn't swimable The only thing you couldn't fault was the staff who were... More

The staff here are so lovely and very helpful. They're very warm and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They cannot do enough for you and nothing is too much trouble. The room was very clean (although sometimes there was a bit of a drain smell from the bathroom) and balcony view was great. Great location with... More

This place is perfect. Close to the town and the full moon party but far enough away to be quiet and chilled during the days. We stayed here 2 nights - the staff were so friendly, the food was brilliant and the owner even gave us a lift to the ferry terminal in the morning because the taxis were full.... More

Great friendly and very willing to help staff. We had a very great experience coming to stay a few days before the full moon party. Clean comfortable rooms with a great view. Excellent food and good pricing through hotels.com. Loved it. They even organized scooters for us and only take a scan of the passports rather than keeping it like... More

Lovely friendly helpful staff! stayed here for 3 nights whilst going to the full moon, ideal distance from all the mayhem, rooms were standard but clean, no insects, bit of a dodgy smell in the bathroom sometime but bearable, nice balcony, mini bar, secure rooms, no complaints here!

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights (deluxe room), but decided to move on for something more authentic. The hotel was ok, but a bit "too concrete" for us. A bit like a mass Mediterranean hotel built in the 80s. Staff is friendly, however a 1000 THB or passport deposit is requested immediately upon check-in as a key deposit (saying... More

Some of the negative reviews here are really unfair. Some people just have completely urealistic expectations. The hotel is relaxed and quiet, and the price to pay for this is of course that it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to Had Rin Beach. Believe me, you will appreciate this distance when the 23 hour party people start to gear... More

Me and my friends stayed in Thaniza during the Full Moon Party period, which might be the reason why we payed so much for such a simple hotel. It is located in front of a nice beach, and it is walking distance to Full Moon Party, which is great if you intend to go there during these days. Otherwise, I... More

Lovely staff, very helpfully and kind, good food very tasty. Rooms are good size, clean, WIFI, Air con, not all rooms have fridges. Lovely big balconies with good views of the sea and amazing sunsets. Rooms are a bit run down, bathrooms are awful drastically need revamp for a few nights at the price we paid it was bearable.
