“Ideal place to stay on Koh Phangan”

Was so pleased I have booked to stay here on the recommendation of a friend... a cool Canadian owner, decent dorm rooms, lockers provided, good value breakfast, nice social area. An ideal place to meet people to go to the Full Moon Part with - very social. You'll have a good time staying here.

I had a great time staying here for the full moon party. Scott has a great hostel with a really social & laid back vibe. I had an awesome time baan tai backpackers, highly recommend it for full moon even though it's not in busy haad rin. “The only place to stay for the FullMoon”

The best place to stay in Koh Phangan and a short ride to Haad rin beach. Great atmosphere, helpful staff and Scott is a good guy plus it has an Xbox!! 10/10. Rooms are clean and well-equipped (A/C, balconies, spacious bathrooms), there are useful facilities in the common area (TV, books, computers). Staff is helpful re renting bikes, there's a great fish&seafood restaurant on the opposite side of the road. The location is not the best though - it's adviseable to hire a bike and ride to nicer beaches or to town.... More

Great hostel, great owner, great atmosphere. Stayed here for half moon party and played drinking games etc and painted ourselves with UV paint. he told us best ways to get around the island, helped us hire peds and told us places to go etc.
