Stayed here for 2 nights...we have 1 month on the island and decided to move on as the lady owner is rude and has zero customer service! We also paid extra for a 'pool view' room and was put infront of a huge stone brick wall with a view of concrete! They moved us but weren't happy about it! The... More

From the moment we entered, it felt like we were doing Lucky a disservice by staying there. The angry owner and her daughter need to focus more on hospitality and service. I couldn't believe how rude they were. Every request we had seemed to be a major burden for them, including our request to have them control the ANT problem... More

We first stayed at Lucky Resort in May 2011 and then again in February 2014. Our first visit was fine, we had a nice bungalow with a view of the water. There is no beach. The staff was friendly, the food was good, the room was clean. When we returned in February 2014, everything was basically the same except the... More

After 20 years of traveling to Thailand we can clearly see how money has spoiled Thais and they don't even smile anymore. Lucky resort has failed to satisfy us due to the attitude of the owners daughter and one other lady who works there in the Reception. They speak and understand English only when it suits them, and are very... More

I ended up here as I could not get a room anywhere else decent. It's hidden and fairly isolated but it's very safe and very friendly. You can really sit back and relax enjoying the beautiful view from the terrace where the owner likes to take care of his guests.

we stayed for 3 nights at the lucky resort. Unfortunalty the place has no real beach. But Haad Salad beach is nearby, this is a very nice beach. It is a very nice place to relax. The restaurant/bar has a beautifull view over the bay. When staying at the lucky resort, it is best to have a scooter, so one... More

My husband and I stayed here for tyre nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a room right beside the room. It was small and basic but that suited us just fine. The only problem was that there were holes in the mosquito net but we patched them up with tape. It's not on the beach but there is an... More

I came to this hostel as there was not much availability throughout the island, but man was I impressed. Its very thailand style simple but super relaxed, friendly staff, nice pool, more than adequate accommodation for the cheap price and it was set in a quiet part of the party island which was also nice. i have told many other... this is a nice, family run resort. it's not about luxury, but has a snug atmosphere, and own mr pimol offers just enough service to keep his guests happy. no less, no more. get your own drinks from the fridge, use the computer, borrow the snorkel gear: nothing is a problem. the bungalows are clean, little problems were fixed immediately.... I stayed at Lucky Resort because when I got off the boat in Koh Phangan a tout offered me a very good deal (300B/night with free transport there). I was excited to see the west coast as I had heard it was very peaceful and beautiful, but was disappointed that Lucky Resort did not have a beach. They have a... More
