Stumbled in here one evening on the off chance & really glad we did. Food was excellent & the whole place had a really nice vibe. There are large screen TV's in here & they were showing a double bill of films, there was a section of the bar area with beanbags etc for people to lay on & watch... More

This place definitely has good vibes and there's lots of interesting people that hang out here. It's a shame the rooms were so bad, i couldnt stand being in it and felt like i had to sleep with one eye open because of spiders. No hot water and the toilets dont have a flush button, but I guess you get... More

This palce is just to avoid, they have the worst service ever and the food is a joke, mini rations that is of low quality, but tje worst is the unpolite staff and their bad manners, rud and feed up with their clients, better off eat from a street vendor, will never get back even for a glass off water

After having visited Koh Phangan a number of times, I finally made my way to Haad Yuan. Long tail boat from the hustle and bustle of Haad Rin and you are transported to paradise. I had heard that Big Blue was the only spot to stay on this beach and was certainly not disappointed. Despite the bungalows being simple and... More

The bungalows were pretty basic but had a step-up kinda homey feel to them compared to many that I've stayed in. The staff is really fun, and the food is very nice. In fact, they served the healthiest pad see ew I've ever had. Just be careful when ordering massaman curry that you're not under the fried rice section. The... More

The rooms are very basic fan rooms. Some ants in the bathroom. The location is out of this world incredible. The beach is amazing and Eden is a dream! Play movies at night on big screen! Get the "Mars milkshake" at the restaurant! Wow!! Yum!!! Staff is very nice.

My fiancee I have been living in Thailand for 8 months and recently spent four days on Haad Yuan. We had heard that Koh Phangan was gorgeous and worth seeing, but we aren't exactly the Full Mooner types. Don't get me wrong we love a good time, but drunken stupidity perpetrated by obnoxious tourists really isn't our thing. So with... More

Big blue is a great place to return too, as it’s on a really wonderful beach and actually serves great food in its restaurant. Unfortunately the rooms have gone very tired and really need updating and a good clean. The beds are lumpy and uncomfortable. All the staff are really sweet apart from the small girl behind reception with glasses,... More

we stayed here for about 10 nights. our room had two single beds. We struggled to sleep on the hard beds. There was no hot water in our room which was costing us 800baht each night. The bathroom was basic and no loo roll plus the water was not very powerful. Would of been nice to have nets, slightly better... More

Bungalows were basic, we had the second one back from the beach with two bedrooms each with a double bed and en-suite loo slash shower room. Not totally clean, lots of dust, stuff under the bed and a huge spider one night which meant I couldn't sleep the other nights lol. I reckon creepy crawlies would have stayed out had... More
