We stayed there during new year for two nights, it was my worst stay in my life in thailand No useable beach , no fridge in room , no safetybox , no boiler and cofee in room and no body even come to clean your room or change towels . Its far from haad rin around 40min by car .

Not expensive to stay here over Christmas. Not much of a beach but a large pool to swim in. No one answered my email to collect me from the port so I made my own way here. There is a restaurant on site which is convenient. You definitely need transport for this hotel as it is out of the way.... More

Perfect location. Great friendly staff. Peaceful. Clean. Great pool and beach views. Good size villas. Unbeatable for 1500 bht including breakfast. Best value on Phangan. Chaloklum village offers amazing dinner choice from thai seafood to Italian. Only 10 minutes bike ride from Tong Sala and 5 minutes from picture perfect beaches of Mae Haad and Haad Salad.

We booked a hill house for 1500THB but since the resort was near empty we were upgraded on arrival to a Pool Villa. Very nice view and surroundings, the staff was very helpful as well. There is no nearby bridge over the river so to go to Chaloklum Village you need either walk (20 minutes) or rent a motorbike. The... More

I found buritara to be quiet and relaxing - a nice contrast to the rest of the island. The pool was amazing and we spent a lot of time in it. The rooms could probably do with some renovating, but the air con was really good. Had a power outage one night but was sorted by the morning. The restaurant... More

I don't know how the price compares with other properties on ko phangan but we booked direct with the resort (via email) and got a nice pool villa closest to the beach and next to the pool for thb 1,500/night w breakfast, high season; all the other poolside villas were also occupied. Well worth the money in my opinion. Kitchen... More

My friend and me made the big mistake and prebooked the hotel online. First of all: When you visit any islands in Thailand, do NOT book your hotels on the internet! You will pay around 30% more if you do... we've been there over Christmas and even during that "peak season" there are lots of free rooms available. LOCATION: We... More
