When we first arrived here, we all complained about the cleaning of the rooms (bungalow superior), the beach beautiful, but impossible to swim due to the tide), and the place in general. Be patient and wait, you'll finally understand that you get to the right place on Phangan. Yes, rooms might be a little better and clean, but this is... More

Rooms are always of higher standard, with very nice wet rooms bathroom. Air-conditioned room with sea view is great and very well priced. Secluded and rustic, with beautiful gardens, swimming pool amd great seaviews. Having a jeep is advised with short walk to haad yao.

Stayed here few years ago. Such an amazing place, far from the crowd and madness of Full Moon Party (don't get me wrong - you still can go there but you don't have to deal with all the dirt, noise and madness). Lovely people running the place. Really good food and awesome atmosphere. I miss this place whenever I think... More

Stayed here as a couple in jan 2015. The beach huts were as expected very basic but reasonable price. The beach and sea was very nice and the best thing about the place. The pool was nice at first but started getting very dirty and we were informed they had run out of chlorine so was unusable for the last... More

We looked at many resorts on Trip Advisor before deciding upon Haad Tian Beach Resort. The small wooden bungalows were set on the beach. They were basic ,but the setting more than made up for it. The beach is very quiet . The resort is set in a pretty secluded bay. The restaurant served very good food at sensible prices.... More

I have difficulty in writing this review. On one hand, the beach is absolutely beautiful. The cottages are cute and comfortable, the soda, water and beer are refilled twice a day (and for free!) and some of the staff we encountered were great (all of the staff at the beach bar were so helpful as well as the manager Joice... Simply, my favorite hotel in Ko Phangan. Love this place with a lots of good memories. When you wake up in the morning, is just like a dream, the paradise. The staff are very kind and friendly. Want to go to the Jungle Party, Full Moon Party or Half Moon Party? Ask Daeng or Charly.. They can help you!

We have been coming here for the past seven years, and it always feels like coming home. It is still one of the authentic beaches on the island that hasn't been touched by commercialism. If you make the effort to get and know the family they will happily tell you everything you need to know about Thai culture. The sunsets here... More

Although the beach is not as spectacular as some in the area and the bungalows are nothing really special, I kept on booking more nights here. The reason for this is that it's such a relaxing place with a special vibe. It really is a home away from home, with a lovely staff and lots of longtermers (the latter is... More
