We came to Koh Lanta after staying in ao nang for about a week, and had a great experience there. But that was about to change. The staff were not very good at speaking English, the room were just ok, the pool was awful and full of dirt. Didn't even go in there once. The breakfast buffet was boring, beach... More

On our second day here our room was cleaned while we were at the beach. We had put all our valuables in the room safe - Camera, passports, tablet, cash and bank cards, as we did not want to look after them while on the beach and in the sea. On our return later we discovered that all our cash... More

Nice hotel that we were somewhat concerned about prior to arrival given reviews on this site mentioning a theft problem. We needn't have worried, however, as there was no problem at all. We used the safes in the room and behind the front desk, and there were no problems. Everything else was great - lovely room with a balcony overlooking... More

Friendly staff throughout the complex made for a very pleasant stay. Breakfast at hotel was good and had lunch and dinner at nearby restaurants along the beach. Very good location. staff helpful in organising trips. Good pool areas and massage and spa. Were presented with a full basket of juices and soft drinks during our stay. Rooms comfortable and large,... More

The Lanta Sand Resort and Spa is a lovely property on a truly breathtaking beach. We flew into Krabi airport and hired a private van to take us to the hotel. This is considered luxury travel because we had the entire van to ourselves. It cost 2,300 Thai Baht for the two of us. It was probably the smartest and... More

We stayed here for my birthday and had the best 24 hours in thailand, the room was incredible and fully stocked and the AC was so on point, whilst having breakfast in the morning literally the entire staffing team came to sing happy birthday to me and had baked me a cake too, nice touch! The nicest French food on... More

We loved this place. The pools, grounds and access to a great beach were pretty good. Breakfast was good and ample. We did not eat other meals at the restaurant because it was expensive. However there were some great inexpensive eats nearby.Staff were ok. This was a very good piece of paradise.

++We came here during off season, so things were a bit quieter (which was perfectly ok) and still being fixed up. The grounds were meticulous. The rooms were older, but everything was clean and worked. Our two children shared a room with us and we were not charged for using the extra bed (we had cotton sleeping bags with us).... More

On arrival we were greeted with cold juice and an easy and fast check-in. First impressions of the room were good. We had a bungalow which was very spacious, huge shower room and bath outside. The hotel had read it was our honeymoon and laid out red rose petals for us. Very nice touch. Bed is comfortable, air in and... More

The hotel has many good rooms and is located on a fine beach. However, hotel staff's manner and their service are disappointing. We traveled in a big group and checked in on time, but some of the rooms are not ready when we arrived. Hotel staff let us in anyway and we found cleaning rags and garbage on the bed!... More
