5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

From the moment we were met at Krabi airport to the point five days later when they dropped us off at our next hotel, Pimalai delivered a five star experience in every way with lovely touches added throughout. As I had advised them that our stay was part of a celebratory trip they were kind enough to upgrade our booking... More

We want romantic and exclusive, those were our instructions to our travel planners at andaman adventures. We didn’t know Thailand very well so we told Mr Jan of AA : make it romantic and make it exclusive. Well ! The Pimalai makes you feel like prince and princess of a remote tropical island. Our villa was just out of this... More

Just got back from Koh Lanta, Thailand. We stayed at the Pimalai Resort & Spa, and it was wonderful. 2 Fantastic infinity pools, with beautiful views, especially the top pool. Several choices of restaurants, one of them right on the beach, which was turquoise blue with white sand. Lots of water craft, all part of your stay. Our room (a... More

We spent 10-days here in January 2015 staying in a beach pavilion villa, and completely loved it. In fact I think it’s fair to say the place blew us away! The beach, the beautifully manicured grounds and the intelligent and intricate design are all fantastic, and help to create a wonderful holiday destination. We would definitely love to return one... Okay, hotels get the official stars according the facilities they offer, so if you have them all (business, fitness center, pool etc.) you’ll get the full 5 stars. Here in tripadvisor, they get the stars according to travelers opinions, and oh boy was I conned with the good reviews, forgot to check the bad ones (as I normally do, keeping... More

This is a gorgeous resort, in the Kantiang Bay in Koh Lanta. Spread in the hills until the beach, amidst forest surroundings, the resort is just part of the landscape, designed for giving us the feeling of being in the jungle, with the sea at our feet. Simply great! We stayed one week in a pool villa in the hill,... More

Lets start with the positives. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings within a rainforest overlooking a secluded bay. The Seven Sea restaurant where dinner and breakfast is served has stunning views over the bay at high level with a beautiful infinity pool below. Unfortunately there are a number of negatives which cannot be ignored. My wife and I are... More

Having traveled extensively in Thailand I booked the Pimalai hoping in the ultimate holiday - it was a nightmare from start to end, and by far the worst stay ever experienced in 10 years of travel in 5* luxury hotels worldwide. The rooms are old and tired, the service had issues every single day, the staff try but they are... More

Genuinely a superb hotel with all the finer touches you would expect from such a great resort. The staff were also extremely helpful and attentive. Amazing private beach location and only a short walk from some local restaurants for a cheap nice meal (we went to pad thai rock and roll, drunken sailors and rampong restaurant). Do it, you will... Dear Simon K Thank you very much for your nice review; it comes at the right time and reinforce our beliefs that we will always aim at taking great care of our guest - ....and this despite the couple of unusual head bashing we recently received. Thank you for staying with us. Sunny reds from Lanta from all . Franck More

Quite possibly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, we were picked up in a car and then taken by private speedboat to the resort then met by the most polite full staff. The room(205) was fantastic big and spacious and was a short walk downhill to breakfast and the beach. We love sitting on the beach... More
